We got to the park around 7, we had just got off the plane and put our stuff at the hotel. So we went here, and we couldn't fast pass, so we waited for 2 hours to get on this ride. It was fun, but dang I wish I had gotten a fast pass.
I have to say cool ride, but those goggles were designed for your eyes not a camera you were confusing the hell out of your camera not wise as it's expensive to get that computer circutry reprogrammed if ya confuse it enough to cause a program error. Other than that Cool Video!
Yea, this ride is off the chain. So damn fun and addicting. I've been on it a lot, and the highest score I got was like 200,000 something. And its coming out for the wii too, and for that, I'm really excited.

What does having Disney in my name have to do with it? I don't like the ride. I think it lacks imagination, soul, and magic. It's just a 3D video game that you have to stand in line for. It's lazy Imagineering and its all too common at Disney parks these days.
U do realize tht video games can take 2-8 years to make. (this is different though, not as complex) but There has never been a 3d video game tht actually worked. And on top of tht they had 2 invent and entire new controller and platform to run it on in synch with the cart. They also made mr. Patato head which is easily the best robot disney has made. The execution and physical work may not be lazy, but the IDEA is lazy, in my opinion. Sure its a ride, yes it is complex, yes Mr. Potato Head is a technical marvel...but its still just a video game that you happen to ride through rather than sit in at home. Sorry, I just wasn't that impressed with it. I didn't feel it was worth the wait in line or the money that could have been spent on a more imaginative attraction. It's a shooting gallery. Big deal if they really worked hard building it. They didn't work hard dreaming up the attraction itself. That's what's irritating; They spent all that hard work on an incredibly expensive and dull video game. When I spend a lot of hard earned money to go to Disney I expect more.

June, July and August are the absolute worst time of year to visit due to the highest attendance numbers of the year. If you can wait until the first week or two of January the park is usually a ghost town!

I won the lottery to preview this ride. As a passholder, the Buzz ride is better. It's cool a couple of times, but there's not replay value like the other. For example, if it breaks down, all the point values turn to zero for the duration. The wait queue at CA is dismal.

it is sooo much fun!!! and the quaility is really good with 4D it really makes you feel like your playing these games at the carnival! it is soo much fun i went saturday and i waited 1 hour which really isnt bad for a BRAND NEW ride! but it was worth the wait. You can either ride it at DisneyLand in California or Disney Hollywood Studios in Florida! It is really FUN!! I would say its better than the Buzz lightyear ride! i guess because its in 4D and it feels so REAL! I suggest this ride 2 every1

Those projector screens at about 1:55 look like they are HORRIBLE quality... Actually all the screens in this ride look crappy. No wonder Disney World is having money issues.

However, I would say they need to up the brightness of the screens. A little dim imo. Maybe darken the rest of the ride if you can't brighten the screen?
Have you rode again after the cast previews (when I assumed you rode it)? They brightened up the screens and played with lighting since then and it's looks pretty good.
i no this was 2months ago but if u take any camera and film it at a screen it will normally have those black line things. Its the quality of the video camera not disney
This ride will have a soft opening on May 31st according to my friend that works here. so many operating errors with it. one day it worked for only 3mins lol.

Soft openings actually started last tuesday. Today they are shooting for being open all day. After a brief hickup this morning (from 9:30-10:30 it was up and running.
Yea it was fun... I got...261350. I did pretty good for my first try. I was pulling and pushing the shooter like crazy. My arms were tired that I did not care if I went on again.
hmm...all I can say is shoot at every target and if there is on target that makes other ones appear just keep shooting everything else and save those for the 10 or 5 second countdown.And for any of you looking for hidden mickey's out there there is not any. I waen't paying attention lol
It looks like they fit a LOT into that old building.
And I don't know if I'm as impressed by the shooting screens as I am by the theming and the ride vehicles. It looks like it'd be a blast even if you didn't shoot at anything. xD
When I was there yes. It seems to take a while for them to load. They had 22, 23 vehicles on the track. At the rate they were moving they should take a few cars off. There are 9 stations though, seems excessive.
This ride is also in Disneyland....it will open in June in Disney's California Adventure. I should head to WDW this weekend for the passholder previews.....
Can not wait to go this summer to WDW and ride this I have been waiting for something to open their since they closed who wants to be a millionaire. It was genius of disney to add double side to the cars which would cut the wait down to half. P.S my favorite was the Woody game at the end

In my personal opinion it looks super lame. However, I guess it's better than Mickey Avenue. Flashier, too.

One word: COOL.
It looks like they fit a LOT into that old building.
And I don't know if I'm as impressed by the shooting screens as I am by the theming and the ride vehicles. It looks like it'd be a blast even if you didn't shoot at anything. xD
I can't wait to ride this in... AUGUST. D:

When I was there yes. It seems to take a while for them to load. They had 22, 23 vehicles on the track. At the rate they were moving they should take a few cars off. There are 9 stations though, seems excessive.

This ride is also in Disneyland....it will open in June in Disney's California Adventure. I should head to WDW this weekend for the passholder previews.....

Oooh, that was good. 'Midway'. Not quite 'mania'. Its called Toy Story Midway Mania. See around 1:00. Midway is spelt in scrabble blocks.

Can not wait to go this summer to WDW and ride this I have been waiting for something to open their since they closed who wants to be a millionaire. It was genius of disney to add double side to the cars which would cut the wait down to half. P.S my favorite was the Woody game at the end
