there was a show I remember, it got replaced on $kids or something by action man, but it was a kid who got hurt really bad or something, was put into an experiment or something that made him like a cyborg or a robot or something? he'd switch from a slightly chubby blond boy to a more athletic brown haired guy. it was cgi animated like this..I'd love to find it again, if you could help =)

This show decided that the best way to do this would be to have the main character playing a sport in which he hangs onto a rope attached to a helicopter, and I for one am willing to give it a chance.

I think the real life boy had an Australian accent or something and the villan of the videogame character was some guy in an icecream truck. I find it funny the entire reason why the series is around is because Brandon Kane tried to cheat to catch the flag. If he tried to play fairly and won/lost Action Man's AMP factor wouldn't have surfaced. Even if he did cheat and caught the flag it'd be likely Brandon Kane wouldn't have enlisted in Dr. X's implants and likewise wouldn't have made him the main villain of the series.

Ah yes Action man,one of the badass cartoons i was actually able to watch when it first aired (since all the cool cartoons were in the 80s and so).

I used to love and freak out every time i would see that intro on the TV.

But alas now when i see this,i will remember only how local people see Action man...Toy for kids under the age of 10... Still i think this is really bad ass and fun to watch. Even dough its very cheesy at some times.

Well this particular version is a more modern take on the hero. There was a 90's tv show and from what I remember it was a UK show. There are minor similarities between the 2 generations of Action Man but I prefer this one more because it's so much more exciting to watch. I love the concept of his AMP factor. I would LOVE to see this into a live action movie.
