what was that firewire cable plugged into? some type of belkin card or something into the pcmcia slot? is there no actual firewire plug on the computer? I have the X60 so I'm not sure if you have the smaller firewire plug or not. Ever figure out what it was?
Just looked up your laptop to see if it has firewire on board and it does like mine. Curious why you are using a pcmcia slot.
