Helloween with Kai Hansen has always been better than with Michael Kiske. IMHO, of course;-) Vocal of the latter is objectively better.

I was only 11(in 1986) when I first heard HMR. I still can not understand how we managed to listen to this music in Soviet Union. Nostalgia...

@dokkcrue71 where what started lol? metal had been around for a decade+ before helloween even formed, this is where german power metal might've started but that's as far as helloween goes in terms of 'starting' anything, great band nonetheless, great songs, some mistakes in the 90s, but by god i love these 80s songs they made, and some their newer heavier stuff 'are you metal' etc etc.
