I am a caregiver to a very dear friend who has had the luck? of having a proper diagnosis and treatment over the past six years; but things are now going quickly bad, and much of what is said here is exactly what is happening. There is a large furry animal taking up half the room, leaving him no space; in the next minute, he is remembering phrases from Proust. And he too wishes for death.
