I take 5mg of biotin that really helped my hair, skin and nails. Its about a 1000% of the rda but as a thyroid patient, I need more. So try some biotin.
Nice vid! For the nails...either you're not getting enough protein or vitamin B. Moisturize your nails and cuitcle with vitamin E oil and use a nail strengthner...not hardner. I take a Biotin 5000mcg capsule daily and they have made my nails healthier and stronger.
omg! my name is kai too! and im in college so i also nvr sleep. when you started talking about sleep i looked over and started reading instantvintage.. the "i see you kai yes you" made me stop breathing for a second lol!
Greetings Curlychronicles, Thanks you my Dear for all the excellent advice. Most people want products or devices to get good hair growth. When where one should start is from the inside out. Everything you mention is extremely inportant to our over health, not just hair. I luv what you're doing. Thanks for all your time, effort, and energy you put into making these video's.. It's ladies like you on YT who have made my hair journey much easier. May the good LORD's face continue to shine upon you
@LuvitHeart you're very welcome and thank you for the kind words! We gotta be healthy in general to really see a difference in our appearance, I think more people are noticing that though and that's really cool :)
Blessings Curlychronicles, thanx much for your inspiration over the years! W/ ur help I have reached my hair goals. I typically try not to bother you with request, hope you wouldnt mind updating us on your winter & summer products/routine. i.e. do you still clarify with Apple Cyder, what products are you using. I saw the video from Dec10 if it all still applies Great! Also when did you start your natural hair journey? Looking forward to more how-to hair videos, cooking tips to eating healthy!
@GerrydeanE I would, I liked to rub a little almond oil or coconut oil my twists back in the day, but mainly because the elements dried them out and I didn't want my hair breaking off. I really like a mix of leave in conditioner and coconut oil..it's the best for me!
Thanks for the video! Question: should I try to moisturize daily even when I'm wearing twists as a protective style or just leave it alone? I am going to try to keep this up until the end of the summer redoing the twists every other week.
I have found that most people's hair grows just fine. However, they're doing many things that hinder holding onto or preserving that hair. Look into your routine and habits to see if that's really the issue.
Good advice! Some focus so much on a method or product to gain growth, when the best advice is just what you gave. Eat right sleep tight, and moisturize that hair daily. Thanks !
@LoveBeingMee too!! Great vid CC!! I suffer from the nail thing too:( linoleic acid deficiency. More veggie oil is necessary? Check out this website:)
When you find out what your nails need, can you please make a video or message me. I have tried a few things, this nail splitting didnt start until recently, so if you find anything let us know please.
could you do a video on how you decided to be a vegan and what you did to start out the process because that's something that I'm really interested in and I see you talk about it all the time but i don't think I've seen a "why I decided to become a vegan" video lol Sorry if this doesn't make any sense...lol

Great job! When I can't massage my scalp with fingers I do a hair-pull massage...it works. Love the gele scarf you are wearing.

My hair is in two cornrows right now. Would you recommend that I still massage my scalp or would that create tangles?

Thanks for info! SN: Being that your nails are made up of mostly protein, you may need to check your protein intake to make sure that it is adequate.

Good tips, especially regarding the message on possessing an overall healthy lifestyle...sleep, water, diet, and fitness.
If you take a multivitamin make sure it contains niacin, biotin, iron, calcium, vit A & vit C. Or you can take a B complex supplement.
