I have no idea. I wish i understood more about what all those pins on a MIDI cable are connected to. I see all these dudes building their own synths and sequencers and it blows my mind. I can take toys apart and probe around their circuitry with a wire until something weird happens then mark it with a button or pot, but that is the extent of my electronics knowledge.
