hey, listen, I've got the solutions to your problem.

This probles is cause your game ( I sure) is another norma of your nintendo gamecube. for example: sure your GC is ntsc and your game is pal, well, playstation 2 can read another normas games, but in black and white (algo es algo = something is something).

Well, you have to do is to install de chip "xeno" in your gamecube, this chip make that your gamecube can read games backup ( juegos piratas o truchos) and unlock de norma (pal/ ntsc).

first listen to the disk when it starts up if it spins normaly i know what mine sounds like then your good 2nd take a q tip and dip it in alcohol slightly clean the eye really carefully and it should work fine or your gamedisk is scratched up really bad

this is EXACTLY what happens to me, but it's something to do with the disc cuz fifa 04 and nfsu2 work fine but mkdd and loz cc dont work (mabey cuz the discs are 6 years old and so is the gamecube)

if you have this problem, listen to it as it boots (put your ear on it) if it is not spinning up at all or slowly, the disc motor may be bad-the motors CAN partially short out(have seen this happen on some CD players)

if the disk does not spin its probaly the gamecube, cause the same thing happened to me, but it said no disc. so i would spin the disc before turning the gamecume on. but then that stoped working so i got a new gamecube. i hope my advice helped!

Same thing happened to my system, I called Nintendo and they said my system's warranty didn't expired, so they sent me a new one and also renew the warranty, Nintendo Rules for sending me new Gamecube!!

right i would first clean the gamecube the clean the disk and polish it it work all the time with mine i had the same problem for fifa 04 but i kept tying it will work if you keep tying once it took me 7 hours to get final fantasy 7 for ps1 to work but runs all the time now

ok, i got pikmin2 and i scrached it up, and i used pledge and the stuff got inside the disk and now it won't work... PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT!

Pledge? Hmmm.... Tell me what it is, and I'll see. Try cleaning the lens with a lint-free cloth (or a tissue).

it might be because pledge is really for furniture surfaces, not discs. if cleaning it with a cloth doesn't work, it may have screwed up your game

Den fehler hatte ich auch mal.. mein alter NGC (den ich eh nicht mehr habe) is mal runtergeflogen und nach ner Zeit hat der einfach gesponnen also bzw. der Laser scheint kaputt zu sein...

That's if you apply too much pressure to the lens.

I have the same problem and don't know how to fix it. Seriously, I have to open and close the cover more than 100 times for it to read the disc!

I know how u feel. I've been closing and opening the cover for 3 months now, and Sonic Adventure 2 battle STILL doesn't work! Maybe it has to do with the lens or the laser.

no the disc was put in and it couldnt register, same with mine, i think it has to do with the disc reading laser
