If you want to see how Graham distorts his interviews and shows to better fit his preconceived outcomes take a look at this take down of this particular episode at v=07NMglQX6gE (replace the end of the URL above with that). It's about how you can use edits to give the false impression of something that never happened or was never said and uses the distortion used here as a great example.
@Ranillon How does he distort anything? He more than does a good job of disclaiming that he is absolutely not a professional, and this is just his outward, unprofessional view of what other professionals have documented. All he's doing is presenting an idea that's different from everyone else.
@sfitzen Different ideas are fine; selective editing to suggest that the experts he consults are giving opinions that are in fact CONTRARY to their true opinions is not.
@msquestionmark because where science is concerned, she is part of a team as a photographer. She is, appropriately, keeping it professional. To do otherwise could possibly compromise the integrity of what Hancock is trying to demonstrate, as a serious look at prehistory.
@HANNIBALbengal are you the kind of guy that hates white people even when you are at a gas station or restaurant? Just seething with hatred? I think so. If you could, I think you would stop all research that points to ancient whites traveling the world, just like the indians did in america with the 9,000 year old, caucasian kenewick man. They stopped ALL research into the remains out of spite and gave the bones a ceremonially indian burial. equating all whites with the racist KKK is racist itself
There is MUCH known about these structures contrary to the post below, but it is astronomical / alignment related knowledge. The construction techniques, builders, etc. are the REAL question. High civilizations have come and gone over the course of time, people just need to get with the idea, it is NOT going away, it will replace dogma one day !!
A message to all closed mined people,WAKE-UP, and remember The Man That Knows Something, Knows He Knows Nothing At All. Keep up the good work Mr. H. We are paying much attention.
I can say this without having to be concerned about what people will think i am not a scientist, main stream science knows the things Mr. H. is saying are true, they prefer to try and keep us in the dark as it relates to an advanced civilization, it would show them not to be the greatest people that lived on earth and they just can't have the people they control believing that are not the end to beat all so to speak, LOL, thanks for your courage Mr. H, i am one of your biggest fans.
I'd like to see what Egyptologists besides the colleague of Hancock's have to say about the Japanese structure-- "RUBBISH, it was just heavy rains that wore down the stone and formed it in that pattern! There was no "cataclysmic flood" that caused the sea levels to rise precipitously! I have tenure at the university, I can't risk critically thinking, it would be 20 years of ass-kissing down the drain!
There was absolutely a cataclysmic flood that caused the sea levels to rise precipitously. This is very clear, and was brought about by the end of the ice age. Take a look at After the Ice by Steven Mithen, there are maps of what the coastlines were worldwide at the last glacial maximum, and lots of cites for you. GH makes a powerful case, no?
You are absolutely right that the established scientists are often very closed minded. Even despite compelling evidence. That's not real science, but just as dogmatic as religion for instance.
@Vikingen78 I think what would be more accurate than close minded (or what would contribute to this idea) is how science is based on thinking with the left brain; very analytical, very linear thought patterns are key to the foundation of all that is science. The thinking of the right brain, the creative, non-linear, and intuitive thought patterns, are denied. But if scientists thought with duality, with a LINK between the two-a balance of linear thought with intuitive thought, then science ....
would forever be changed! we would regain the tools that our ancient and archaic ancestors used to figure out all of the things they did! THIS is the way that each civilization connected to each other; after achieving duality, their psychic abilities increased 10-fold, and they were able to communicate with each other (somewhat like "action at a distance" if your familiar with physics...). I also want to put this idea out there too; the way that these people were able to create the megalithic...
@Vikingen78 Scientists aren't closed minded, certain schools of archaeology are closed minded. Scientists deal with the immediately tangible, things like physics, chemistry, and biology. The scientific method can't be applied properly to this sort of thing, so real scientists steer clear. It's the historians and archeologists who refuse these findings.
You're right: Fuck academic othodoxy. Graham Hancock is not the only "unshackled" thinker. Mesoamerican scholars (both native and foreign) long ago had to abandon the biased, Euro-centric, Judeo-Christian "mainstream consensus".
Science is the Ultimate Religion or and oposame to all religions. The founder of Modern Science Francis Bacon had three Angels appear to him to give him knowledge. How Ironic.
10,500 years is roughly half the cycle of precession. Take 75 years multiply 360 (degrees in a cirlcle) and you get roughly the full cyle in years. To me it seems these structures are in place to mark that specific place in time in the cycle of precession. Did you know if you take 10500 and add 2012 you get roughly half of this cycle?

It's a pity that scientists are not more open minded. If they were they wouldn't dismiss his theories without looking at all the evidence first.
Morgana0x 2 years ago
No cataclysmic flood? What do you call the melt after the last ice age then? An unsignificant rise of sea level or what? LOL
