what i dont get is...what if i make this long 5 sec pad in one pattern on fruity loops..i want it to be 'dry' but the last one sec to have an effect e.g. delay...how do u do that

@uch the only way i can think off is putting the pad into a channel in the mixer, add a delay but then make a automation clip of the sound of the delay vst and bring the automation clip up at the last 1 sec

what i dont get is how to get the filters preset, like in fruityloop premade songs, there are some filters with settings already there, (with the lines going up and down), but i dont know how to do that. i can get the equalizer onto the track, but i cant make effects with it

in the main FL sampler click your sample u want to put the effect on, on the top right corner of the sample's window there's a blank green box. mouseover it and change the number to 1, then goto the mixer and load in the effects.
