I have spent time in prayer, but it never helped me. I read the bible, prayed, everything and nothing improved in my life. I want to believe, but I find it hard when I have no personal proof. I have nothing against christians or catholics, but I do have something against most churches. MOST are just businesses. Why do we need mega churches? Why do preachers molest kids? Why do churches shove god down my throat? Why do religious figures have millions of dollars and private jets? That is not god.

Everyday, i learn more about God. Really think about it and at least try to put faith in Him, He will save you. One day he will do the same for me and i will become reborn again.

There's not 25 Bibles. I read the NIV primarily, and the KJV occasionally. They're very reliable translations. There's a reason the Bible is the top selling book of all time.

I have faith in myself and don't believe in a celestial dictatorship to give my life meaning. If there is a god I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to worry about a petty emotion such as jealousy, or judgement. I believe in some kind of higher power, because this earth we live on is an undeniable masterpiece. Religion is derived from the childhood of our species, and was developed to help us understand this life at that time. We can prove just about everything that happened on this planet with some kind of scientific theory. Why

@xTHExELEVENTHxHOURx is we cannot find any kind of evidence? Good evidence. Evidence that will hold up in the science community, and the court of law. Christians sound like dictators to me, and not one of you has ever presented to me something of substance. Instead you quote your bible which is NOT PROOF. I can read lines out of a fairy tale, say its real, and its just as real/fake as what your reading. Faith my friend is the only thing that can keep religion alive.

You want evidence? I can't prove God's existence to you, if you take nothing I say as a proof. You gotta seek Him yourself with all your heart.
I can only tell you how amazing He is, but you need to experience the love of God yourself. Nothing on this earth can satisfy you.
Man, I hope you'll find Christ soon. Do not reject Him. Do not harden your heart to the word of truth, because tomorrow it might be too late.

@xTHExELEVENTHxHOURx I really don't think that you have to let your heart be soft enough to see truth. We all see the things we want to see in the world. In other words, our perception of reality is always based on our personal history, on our psyche, on what makes this piece of meat called human a "human". I do not think that the experience of God's love is enough. Believe me, what is enough for each and everyone of us is that feeling of being complete.

@xTHExELEVENTHxHOURx There will always be people like you (I used to be a really devoted Christian also who understood and studied the laws of God and even went to catholic school) who feel complete at the hands of God. However, on one personal experience of God I heard him saying neatly "One does not me, one does need itself to be complete. You are meant to be one and only to contribute to the whole world and cosmos". From that moment on I went on to study Philosophy and Psychoanalysis...

@xTHExELEVENTHxHOURx It is not a matter of whether or not 1) God exists or not, whether or not 2) You've felt God's love. It is not a matter of rejection to Him. It is a matter of how do you feel with yourself in this beautiful world full of people who see the world according to their own history (and thus, their Psyche). I really respect everyone, even without mattering whether or not they are religious, atheists, agnostics… As long as we are living good with one another
