After watching the fight a second time, I had Chael winning the 1st and 3rd convincingly. Not sure what all the fuss is about, other than, like you said, people just don't like Sonnen. I sent a Tweet to Dana to ask why he thought Bisping won... Hopefully he responds.

Disappointing main card, but the under card had some great fights. How about Lentz's 3rd eye??? Man, that thing was nasty! Impressive KO by Johnson as well. Big Country would destroy Russow, no??

I'd pick Nelson in that fight but you never know

nice silva return, i agree with you 100% the card sucked for drawing in new fans. But happy we get to see sonnen vs silva 2 and pretty happy for Weidman even though it was a boring fight

Nice TTM. Sent to him like 3 days ago. I agree that Chael won. His WWE-like promo was hilarious. Watched a little of the K-1 event. Saw the Silva fight and that nasty Uppercut. I can pretty much watch any sport that involves punching and kicking haha.

You're absolutely right about that UFC card being subpar...I think most fans going in knew that it wasn't going to be the most exciting...hopefully they learn their lesson and stop putting boring grapplers on FOX. As an MMA fan already...I don't mind it, but in terms of making new fans it's absolutely a JOKE! Glad to see Badr go out with a win...and I'm strangely intrigued to watch CroCop and Ray Sefo's fight coming up. Does Mirko really have a chance?? I don't think so..

@AdamJAiello dude I CAN NOT WAIT for Cro Cop's return!

I'm afraid Cro Cop might have the glass jaw problem ALOT of fighters get after being in so many wars. This is 100% my own theory and i have no scientific evidence to back any of this but i feel like after a certain point fighters loose the ability to take punches without getting KO'ed. Look at guys like Liddell and Arlovski, they always will have the heart to keep fighting but their bodies just won't allow it anymore.

other fighters I see that have this problem are: Wanderlei, Jardine, Manhoef, Lindland, Babalu....I'm sure there are more but thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

they come out ready to fight, look good but bam...all it takes a short shot to the jaw and they're out. Shots that shouldn't KO them knock them into next week and I'm afraid thats where Cro Cop is at now

someone like Brendan Schaub should NOT be able to KO Cro Cop

@Southpark631 You're right man... as long term fight fans we've seen it happen to many guys and it's sad to see. Fights like Belfort/Wand II don't get me excited...they just get me thinking...why??!?!?! Sure Wandy still has the warrior spirit but why would he want to test his chin against a guy who beat him in 20 seconds in his prime?!?!?!

that fight is a PERFECT example!!!

Vitor hasn't lost ANY power since then, in fact he's stronger now plus he's become a better boxer since then and Wanderlei is still the same fighters he's always been (Clinch and knee or sit in the pocket and throw wild punches)

I think the O.G.'s of the sport are starting to fade off into the sunset

the only reason guys like Vitor and Shogun are still around is cause they got popular at the age of like 18 and started fighting at like 12

Saki, Spong, Zimmerman, Kyotaro, Ghita, Gerges, Schilt, CroCop (yes!!), Manhoef, Teixeira, Braddock Silva, Verhoeven, Poturak........... Remy will only fight once man. He had 3 times surgery on his eye, he's almost blind on that eye. So will only have a retirement fight. Probably just like JLB, who also will have one fight.

Direkci is an awesome guy dude. Met him in my city at a kickboxing event. Talk to him and got an autograph. Real cool and very nice guy!!!. Ow yeah UFC on FOX SUCKED!!!!

Direkci is awesome man like I've said, it's too bad he retired last night. There was also a serie on the dutch tv 2 years ago about fighters. You could see what they do in there houses and outside. I think 4 different episodes : Sahin Yakut, Bouzidi, Direkci & Melvin Manhoef. I got the last one on VHS lol

He fought on many Showtime events. He also champion of Showtime. You really should look up those fights man!!! He didn't wanted to fight anymore for the K-1, because he had to wait like 10 months for his money..... he said : Then I'll only fight in Europe I don't care. I have to take care of my family and stuff. After that the K-1 offfered him a very low amount of money to fight again (4 times lower than Albert Kraus). So he didn't except it and stop fighting at K-1

I think Manhoef wants to fight more controlled. Not to wild, because he got caught sometimes. But it's definitely not profit his style. I like him see punching kicking wild.
