This is more about helping an artist with the upfront costs of a professionally produced CD. It's cost me nothing to enjoy her music on YouTube - I think I can muster up a couple of bucks for this and future projects. Congrats Nataly!

First, giving $10 to Nataly doesn't prevent you from donating to Japan, or any other cause you feel is more important.
Second, how do you *know* that Nataly has a profitable business. I can tell you as a singer artist that it's very difficult to make a living with music, and that most people I know make just enough to continue, however popular they are.
Really, $10 is nothing and you are free to make a bigger contribution to Japan in any case.

I don't really know why you need to go to a "professional" studio and get a "professional" engineer when Pomplamoose has had amazing production and musicianship in a home-studio kind of environment (I also don't know where all of the money came from for that studio).

Nataly Dawn IS a profitable organisation. all the money that u give to her is going right back into her own pocket when she profits from her sales! only $10? tell that to Japan or other charities that actually need donations. First, giving $10 to Nataly doesn't prevent you from donating to Japan, or any other cause you feel is more important.
Second, how do you *know* that Nataly has a profitable business. I can tell you as a singer artist that it's very difficult to make a living with music, and that most people I know make just enough to continue, however popular they are.
Really, $10 is nothing and you are free to make a bigger contribution to Japan in any case.

I don't think Nataly would go through this donation process if she were making plenty of money. Or maybe you mean "profitable" in th sense making more than $1?

@TheBusMan85 how long have you been following Nataly/Pomplamoose? Both her and Jack seem to be very nice people and often give back to those in need. Did you miss this last Christmas when they donated money/books to charity? It's not like they're making millions of their youtube channels either. And lastly, recording in LA is NOT cheap. I am happy to support her because I love her music and I would like to see her succeed.

I don't really know why you need to go to a "professional" studio and get a "professional" engineer when Pomplamoose has had amazing production and musicianship in a home-studio kind of environment (I also don't know where all of the money came from for that studio).
Still, you are a great artist who has earned the money and if this will really help you, then that's good enough for me.

You sell your song for the cheapest prices i've ever seen, so, surely, you are not a mercenary that sells albuns for a god damn kidney, and them tells a poor guy to steal them?
