"American Idol" runner-up David Archuleta's dad, Jeff Archuleta, was charged with soliciting a massage parlor prostitute, stemming from a raid in January.

According to People, Jeff pleaded no contest and paid a $582 fine after being arrested at the Queens of Reiki on Jan. 14 in Midvale, Utah.

During the raid, Midvale officers found one client -- Jeff Archuleta -- receiving services

Hopefully this will not harm David's career.

@888Darrel What is your point? The mistakes of our parents or anyone else for that matter are not our own. I see many celebrity's screwing up royally and it doesn't seem to make a difference in there careers. This is a non issue.

Oh.my.gosh. Shelley. Thank you so much. I'm a blubbering mess. David just continues to keep me awestruck and inspired. I soooo appreciate the videos for those of us that couldn't be there. And I know the video can't capture the whole moment, but for those of us that have seen David in action, we KNOW. We know what you felt. So thank you from the depths of my heart. David is like no other. I just love him -- the voice, the spirit, the man. We are blessed.
