  • I recently had a craniotomy performed to remove an AVM from the front right part of my brain (Jan 6th) the following day I was up and walking around and eating normally. I was out of the hospital on the 10th. I'm very thankful for my neurosurgeon, he did an amazing job! No problems whatsoever! (I'm 18 and have really good health to begin with, so that's part of how I was able to be so well off post surgery and healing nicely, but to anyone else going through this - it'll be okay!!) :)

  • It one of the most complex surgical procedure in medicine. Read real stories on AVM written by neurosurgeons with 20 years of experience on

  • Did the Brain make it through surgery or did it died on the operating table?

  • yeah i had one of these surgeries in 2007 when i was 15 it took 10 hours, i was just wondering if anyone knew where to find a video that shows the operation in more detail? im just suddenly interested in what happened to me 3 years ago so if anyone knows of anywhere i would love to know =D
