He is saying that blacks (as a whole) have NOT progressed in a way that they are more perseverant in education, wealth, ect. now than sixty years ago. He is saying that whites (as a whole) have progressed in a way that they are less raciest now than sixty years ago. He is saying that this lack of racism (or oppression) has allowed blacks (more so now than sixty years ago) to progress. As raciest as he may sound, (in general) he is absolutely correct. Are we to assume that blacks are perfectly fine, as some of the most violent, uneducated people on this planet? Of course not because they aren't. i think i understand what chris rock is saying, black people have more rights now, not because they earned them but because whites have relaxed a bit - i think thats a compliment to us, because we have made some progress and changed our attitudes a lot, so now blacks are treated a lot more fairly, the way they should have been treated in the first place

Chris is not racist or crazy...Seeing the eyes through the world of a black guy is pretty crazy sometimes...You can never explain it to white people because we're exposed to the world in 2 different perspectives and trying explain that is hard...Him saying "White people have gotten less crazy" is one perspective from one demographic...Vice versa I'm sure white people would think black people have gotten more crazy...The lives we live are hard to explain but that doesn't make our truths invalid

Are we to assume that blacks are perfectly fine, as some of the most violent, uneducated people on this planet? Of course not because they aren't. I think society changes for everyone and we all grow however, the worst enemy of blacks right now, are blacks and many blacks are coming out saying the exact same thing. They have opportunity now, the "white man" is certainly help shape a new tomorrow where everyone belongs, but blacks are still content to live in the past and point fingers.

Human beings are evolving, historically white people happen to have power in America, if it was black or brown people they would probably have done the same, just look at other countries, same shit all around the world regardless of color of our skin some groups dominate other groups that is the sad story of our world, it is not about white people getting less crazy, its about all of us growing up gradually. Chris is wrong on this one. Btw, I am not white.

@ulutirmik I agree with everything bar the last 2 sentences. If, for example 'enter race here' had power and used slaves, and they slowly started to abolish slavery of 'enter race here', then I said '1st race' are becoming less crazy now that they have started to abolish slavery of 'race'. His sentiment is completely benign imo, but the words can, initially, seem racist. From what I've seen of chris I think he is intelligent enough to discard any juvenile ideas of racism.

@ulutirmik you know what... no.... its not some groups... there is no groups of race ethnicity or anything, i ALWAYS put other, What race am my, what is my ethnicity: HUMAN - and weather we like it or not... when we have the power we don't complain, when we don't we condemn power and such - If you were offered kingship - you wouldn't denie it EVER - humans are a bunch of hypocritical mistake harboring monguls.
