Actually, this is not deja vu; it's just repetition. Deja vu isn't a literal repetition of an event; it's the mental state wherein one perceives that an event that is currently happening, happened to them at another time and place they can't define, perhaps several days, weeks, or even years ago. It's almost impossible to portray real deja vu in a film or TV show, so directors usually opt to show the same event happening twice in short succession. Sadly, it's always a poor substitute.

I saw something like this yesterday. I went into my backyard and saw an old couple walking by. Then I went back inside for about 10 seconds and went back outside again and saw the same couple walking in the same direction and from the same spot as before. Maybe they turned around or something.
