Does anyone know how to take an existing tinted image and make the tint darker? I've spent 4 hours trying to figure it out.
I'm using it as a background for text on a website. The site has a photo background already - I just want to take this transparent image that came with the them and make it darker so my copy shows better on the background.
I'm using elements 9.
This is a solid plain tinted transparent image that repeats.
One of the greatest things about Photoshop is that there are multiple ways to achieve just about any objective. Unfortunately, there are BETTER ways to do this that will take less time and have a far superior end result. Additionally, all the background noise and poor editing de-emphasize the important parts of the tutorial. (sorry) FAIL.
@MarkLipka - You just complained and insulted rather than provide another alternative which you say exists. So this wasn't meant to be helpful which is the real "fail" here. She on the other hand took her time to put together a video that while shaky does get the job done in just a few minutes. @ xxchulaxjocelynxx thanks as I now have one other method of achieving the results I need for my project.
