Sheryl is amazingly beautiful. And I really like her singing in this. Overall, this is one of the best Bond Theme songs, in my opinion. The David Arnold orchestration is outstanding, full of great "Bond" moments. The guitar work is particularly good -- somewhat minimalistic and edgy yet highly musical.

Yes, easily. This song was written by Sheryl Crow and Mitchell Froom, while Froom produced it. They're likely was an orchestrator involved, but I can't find I name.

Take a look at the Wikipedia article. David Arnold wrote the rival song, Nicholas Dodd orchestrated and conducted it (along with the score). They had no connection to Crow's song, which is why it's not in the underscore.

I think Craig's Bond is more realistic ( and dont get me wrong, he's a good actor ), but I never really watched Bond films for the realism, I watched them because they were fun, if only a little bit cheesy. I think the fun aspect is something the franchise has lost. Brosnan was the Bond I grew up with so he'll always be my favorite.
