well i was watching some news and in austrailla they found a fish skelliton that has fins that have bones like those in an human arm they had said that this is a link from when human were just begining to come from the water and start evolution into a human i dont know what to believe i have been brought up believing that god made man not evolution were they are saying we were once fish

I dont mean to restart an argument; but there were people/animals before the flood, and the earth is thousands of years old even by human standards, so carbon dating can be right. But the bible does discredit the evolution theory and theres no scientific proof that theory is right. Even if it was possible a random accurance could cause all this OR things mutated to make something different; things that are mutated either die or revert to thier original form after 6 generations. I'd like to comment a bit for you. Firstly, the dating methods are quite false. If there are buried bones or tools it's all post flood. Caves we all made post-flood. Sediment layers that have fossils in them are all from waterflows moving things rapidly. If you think about how very little human fossils we have, or how little fossils altogether we have compared to the amount of sediment. Everything in the video is "could be" "might be" Nothing can be absolutely proved science is observation
sience is observation in some cases but it can be fact. Not all caves are made post flood, and the dating process arnt exact, they can be off by 100 years or so depending but they arnt false, they do work. In this case your right, not everything is absolutely proven, its hard to get concrete evedince but the theories made in sience are a lot more concrete then a book made by a bunch of random different people some not even known, 2 thousand years ago.

During the last Ice Age, temperatures were cooler overall, but it didn't get as hot in the summer or as cold in the winter. As the Earth warmed, these seasonal patterns become more pronounced. Due to the higher extremes reached in the summer, the glaciers melted. Since the winters were much colder, plant and animal distributions changed. Lots of things died. Just because average temps go up doesn't mean that winters should be warmer. It might be the other way around.

lol, global warming isn't fake, but it isn't our fault either. the earth has always been fluctuating like this. once there is an extreme of one gas however, whichever half of the spectrum of life uses it thrives for a couple hundred years, and then it's on the other extreme. All we've done is sped up the process, we can't make it happen any more though. I mean are we really so vain to think we could screw up a whole planet? the earth has existed 50 million times as long as humanity.

The Earth's atmosphere acts like an economy- heats up and cools down, it has to be this way to stay stable and exsist! I can see why the Governments are bothered about it, but they've acted too late! And I can't see China throwing any co-operation into the pot, or india for that matter.

The debate regarding what is causing global warning is being made the issue. Earth-man Gore attempts to politicize the issue. Geologically, as is proven with Antarctic ice cores, the earth is in an interglacial period, which over the last 5 million years or so has been cyclical. Causes are excentricity of the orbit, polar wandering(deviation of our magnetic field) and tilting of the axis. Gore's misrepresentation of the issue doesn't represent a lack of responsibility on his opponents behalf.

I believe quite a bit of the bible is figurative. i personally think the 6 days would be more akin to be 6 epochs more so than literal days (defintion of day in ancient hebrew could mean anything from a fix amount of time, sun rise to sunset or an extended period of time.) so dont shot me...With the discovery of civilizations dating back to 6000 yrs ago and the fossilized animals, it should be clear that this earth and its creatures is quite old

the fact is many countries are secular and have high rates of atheism including the U.S which is estimated to be around 12-15% atheist at the moment, although in younger age groups it is actually alot higher.
