  • @SOAD525 No, everything has moved to SATA now actually. IDE is still around but hard to find anywhere but online. SATA is a much faster and better connection.

  • i dont have an ide on my cd. Im new at all this and most of what this video is telling me doesnt match up on what my computer is wired upon

  • Friendly Computers as a franchise has been twisting the cables since they opened up in the 90's... If you twist the cables TO tight then yes... it can be bad... but if you use your brain (the thing between your ears) then you should be able to tell how tight is to tight.
