Anyone harping about how Myles sang this has obviously never played a live set before. Look at how sweaty he is. He's exhausted. It's hard to sing your best after 2 hours of steady cardio (rocking). Seriously go jog a mile and then try and sing after. You'll understand why he sounds so tired.

I must say I consider AB one of the best, yet underrated bands EVER, but this cover is far from their real capacities. The first Kennedy's performance where I was not impressed, quite the opposite. If they wanted to do a cover from one of the best bands ever, they should have tried more, I think Deep Purple deserves that.

First of all Mark tremonti is a freaking guitar maniac who is the glue that held creed together for as long as it did, and without him alter bridge wouldnt be as great. That being said as far as guitarist goes I think people dismiss him when he is clearly as good if not 10x better than guitarists like slash and angus young. Myles is actually a great guitar player as well, he can clearly hold his own with tremonti. props to the whole band, thumbs up if u agree!

Bad day for Myles i think, saw him live on Graspop this year with Slash, his voice whase in a much better shape there, I can easly say one of the best rock singers on the planet imo, and as far as this Deep Purple cover goes, it's hard to compite to a band like that, but Alter Bridge does as pretty nice job doing it IMO ;) .

Mark Tremonti plays that solo with more ease then Myles though. Anyway I think technical wise Mark Tremonti reached a point he is better then Myles Kennedy. Myles has a bit more feelin' I think and a killer vibrato. Considering Mark Tremonti is like...10 years younger then Myles he will probably become a virtuoso one day since he has a unstoppable hunger for learning.
