1:29 I always think of this when someone says to give up something. Always manage to accomplish it in the end, unlike marv and harry. Friggin love this film, funny thing was I thought this was the 1st with Home Alone being a prequel, this is because I saw Home Alone 2 before 1. Fav parts of 2 are harry and marv find Kevin, then they catch him after the chase and then the ott traps with catching the bad guys red handed. Definitely an Xmas film every one should see once/every year.

@VisualPrefection Home Alone 3 wasn't that bad but it didn't have any connection to the original cast, not even a comical joke/cameo like the wet bandits still behind bars. It also didn't have the same level of characters or plot to expand on. Home Alone 4 was a modern reboot but at the same time it was suppose to be set between 1 & 2, yet it hinted at the events of 2 having already happened. Paradox if I ever saw it. Overall, 1&2 were the best and I see them every Xmas.

They said that it's not as good as the original, but I like when was a kid and it's entertaining as ever. Of course the film has the same story as the original and the lady with the birds is creepy and very boring line when Kevin talks to her. But the traps are hilarious and the new york city is really fun for a trip to see some tour. Good sequel, but Home Alone 3 and Home Alone 4 don't think about it!

home alone 1 and 2 were really great and worth watching every christmas. :D truly good childhood memories. i never watched home alone 3 or 4. i heard home alone 3 was at least decent, but not as great as the first 2. and i heard number 4 was just horrible :O. from what i saw from youtube footage of homealone 4... it looked darn right terrible :O horrible acting, no booby traps, main character looked annoying, bad editing, and the gags were not funny :S... i'm sticking with homealone 1&2. :)

My only issue with this movie is that is too much of a re-ash of the first movie. Almost every event that happens in this movie is practically the same as in the first movie, excpet he's in New York and not in his home. Don't get me wrong, I love the film as well, but not quite as much as the first one.
