I'm babysitting right now, we were playing on the ground and i saw them all huddles into a tight circle eating something on the ground. they seemed smaller than the ones in this video. They are so hard to find and kill because they are so small. Are the ones I saw babies? They were a light reddish brown colour and were about this size -> .. <-- of those 2 dots maybe 1 and a half dots.. eww.
well a "baby" ant would not be crawling around....like a butterfly's immature form is a caterpillar, it isn't a smallish butterfly.
I don't know if you have what I have in our garage and kitchen, but Pharoah ants are reddish and the abdomen is slightly darker. The abdomen and thorax(chest) is separated by 2 joints, but it's extremely hard to see because they are soo small.
this ants are friggin annoying.. I found what it seemed to be a colony under my folded jeans and shirts..

Living Bahamas, we get them all the time.
One dead lizard, a whole army of pharroh ants. Well, they are kinda cute because they look tiny and helpless, even though they are far from it.

Only Baits will truly solve a Pharaoh ant problem, if you spray any pesticides the ants will just break the nests up to different locations.
