Thanks to all for watching. To answer common questions: 1. We acquired the force meter along with the gym - we did not purchase it ourselves. I'll take it back out again soon and let you all know the brand. I will also dig up the old post with the results - in short - roundhouse registered the highest (surprisingly more than back kick)
Spent the last 10 mins trying to find the results on your site to no avail. Can you please give a direct link to the post? Also, as a number of others have asked, what kind of force measurement device did you use and how much was it? Thanks.
@supmuhhumbruh can you email me a copy of your research article i.e. design and method, results, analysis and conclusion as i'm doing something similar as a biomechanical project and i'm interested in looking at the force of impact of a roundhouse kick. Thanks ashleighjaynen@hotmail.co.uk
This post is on YouTube, is it not?...So, where's the data? Where's the results...? How many tests, how many failures...? Fine, you're kicking and punching, well, there's a lot of idiots who do just that...where's your science? You say your roundhouse is registered as being the most force...well, that's fine, if "YOU" represented everyone on the planet!!! Sorry, but with what you presented here, as a science project, it failed!
@SensieSanzashi Before you go on a tangent, why don't you take the time to read the description under the video. The results, as well as the number of tests/failures are all recorded on my blog post associated with this video. This is OUR experiment. Have we concluded that the roundhouse the most powerful strike? No! But our of the strikes that we tested, the roundhouse scored highest each and every time...again for US! Thank you for your comment, but please take the time to read first!
@jmikejapan There was a force meter between the chest protector and the kicking pad which measured the force of each strike. I posted the results on my blog, but not surprisingly roundhouse kick registered the most force
pls share with me a link for the force meter or something? thank you

How does this measure the force of the strikes? It is just a pad. How does it measure it? How many psi in each strike? I don't get it.
