  • Kane: Go quickly...

    Commander: *stifled laugh*

    Kane: What?!

    Commander: *looks behind kane* nothing...

  • You get a sniper in CNC1?

  • @lmcorr1 The Commando in C&C1 was somewhat like a sniper. One shot from him can kill any infantry.

  • "Keep in mind however that the sequels (...) have been based on the successful completion of this game's GDI campaign."

Not necessarely, GDI successful campaing was in Europe, and Nod successful campaing was in Africa. Both GDI and NOD ends can co-exist.

  • @LkMaxBR

Nope- You see, in the end of the Nod TD campaing, they use the Ion Cannon to blow up some historycally important landmarks, thus blaming GDI on them. As a result, UN funding for GDI would be cut, and Nod gets to be the superpower, as there is no NATO or GDI to defend anyone. Although some missions can, let's say, be canon at the same time, the GDI ending is the canon ending, and the one all of the other C&C titles are based on.

I'm sorry if there is any mispelling, I'm halfway asleep.

  • i love the pictures behind him makes me feel nervous like this man knows everything lol duno y

  • I must say, the Kane of C&C 3 and Tiberian Dawn is awfully different than this one. If we put these two men together, I don't see 1, but 2 different people.

I think this has to do with the way actors were told to act in Cutscenes, in the later installments. They tend to be a lot more exaggerated and it makes them highly unbelievable due to it. I don't like it, the acting should be kept like the original, like here! This is the Kane which were supposed to see, not the exaggerated one. :(

  • Yes, I agree. Maybe the money got the better of Joe Kucan's acting ability.

  • It's not just Joe Kucan, the acting started abit exaggerating from Tiberian Sun, well, in Firestorm I think to be more precise, Characters became difficult to be taken seriously. I do not know who is behind this to tell them to act, exaggerating. Hence, I get the idea of Kane being in the later installments to be vastly different than the one in Tiberian Dawn. in Tiberian dawn he introduces you "normally" after Seth, "I'm Kane." in later installments it was like: "I'm KAAANE!" with a long face.

  • Yeah. In TD Kane was a credible cult leader and terrorist. In TS he became f*cking Cobra commander:(

  • I wouldn't describe as a cult leader in TD, since neither he nor anybody else makes a reference to Nod be religious in any way. I don't know where the religious stuff in that was in TS came from, and then in TW, they must have changed the writers, and they need to change them again.

  • Actually, there is a religious reference right at the beggining. "I am Seth. From god, to Kane, to Seth".

  • it's in Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn -- Nod 1. "I'm Seth, just Seth. From God, to Kane, to Seth"

  • Seth was just being witty.

  • Yeah, I agree. I liked the original C&C better. The latter installments were too over the top. And I liked the original Kane better

  • So ahead of its time! I loved, and still do, the game today as much as in 1996!

  • the game was released in 1995, not 1996.

  • I started playing in 1996 :)

  • you must know that he's been going to a lot of events, people change when the years pass. especially if a lot happens during those years. their have been 3 wars going on(also counting firestorm in it) between this video and the kane we know now. so it's actually a bit realistic that is attitude changed. he first wanted to conquer the world due classic command and qonquer, but now he changed tactic, in c&c 3 he literally says: "our victory against GDI wil never be on the battlefield".

  • kane reminds me of my old english teacher

  • 'one of your snipers will do the job'

    what fuking snipers??

  • You get some Commandos for it.

  • "I see the future - random flying hourglasses."

  • Windows 95 screensavers!

  • @Ianvo I lol'd.

  • Kane comes up with the most random pictures in this game.

  • Sounds like he says " Lion weapon " :D

  • why do the always use imperative, isn't important a good word

  • Imperative is not as colloquial as important, so it sounds more appropriate in the formal, militaristic setting.

  • Why does all the 'good guys factions' (GDI, Allies) always set up their research labs in the frontline? Wouldn't it be a better idea to build them in their central command base?

  • Because they are tards

  • And yet they always win in canon :( *cries*

  • skull at :46 = freaky

  • Floating Hour Clocks :( :( :(
