They should've had a montage of Barnes going through all the rounds in tournament. Playing death metal in the backround while LaRusso sits on the side watching, whimpering and pissing his pants.
@StefanosAdonis Barnes owned LaRusso's balls in the tournament. LaRusso scoring that cheesy sudden death point, doesnt make up for the fact that Barnes went through and entire tournament and still beat the living shit out of LaRusso. The reason why the girl exited long before the conclusion was because it wouldve been incredibly humiliating if she was there to see it. Imagine if the girl saw him get kicked in the balls and crying that he's afraid on the mat. LaRusso wouldve needed viagra after.
Barnes was a wonderfully intense A-Hole that abused Daniel throughout the entire film (it was really funny) And Snake was hilarious, him and Barnes complimented each other well. I'm surprised Daniel made it through. Then Mr. Silver was real twisted too, my goodness. Mike Barnes was a Bad dude, I enjoyed it all.
I think the guy who played "Dutch" in the first film, had he not already been used, would have made a better Mike Barnes as he was by far the most intimidating, psychotic looking character of all three films. Not sure if you tried for the role or not but I feel you were tailored for the role of Daryl Dixon from "The Walking Dead", a missed opportunity maybe but the series is going strong and it’s a new character a week type of series so why not have a go
It made no sense how in part 2 he beat a Japanese Sensei in a street fight but in part 3 he's just as big a helpless wimp as he was in part 1. A tournament champ beats him around as if he's a yellow belt. It also makes no sense how Miyagi was able to train him to black belt level in a short time in part 1 but in part 2 he could get him to at least come near equaling Mike Barnes level.
mike maybe the Strongest enemies of Story for Daniel because Chozen from KK2, , Chozen wants kills Daniel, but at least Chozen is beaten by Daniel more than 6 times, but Daniel is match for Mike,
Know how in Karate Kid ll at the beginning of the movie, Johnny and the other Cobra Kais ended up realizing that their Sensa was a nut? They should have made them come back and be on Daniel's side against the evil Sensa.

In Part 1, he worked hard and became decent, I think Chozen was his toughest opponent (Chozen wanted to kill him). This one was comical, Daniel was a Heavybag throughout the whole flick.

Many critics said horrible things about this film but I totally disagree. Karate Kid 3 was as great as previous two films. Ralph macchio and Pat Morita were brilliant as always. Plus it was interesting to see Robyn Lively here. Her film "Teen Witch" was released the same year. She is my favorite Macchio's screen girlfriend in this franchise. Thomas Ian Griffith, Martin Kove and Sean Kanan were great bad guys but I still expected better final scene - not just one punch from LaRusso

The script writers REALLY messed up KK3 by making Danny such a wimp. Even worse, Danny gained a few extra double chins...

Many critics said horrible things about this film but I totally disagree. Karate Kid 3 was as great as previous two films. Ralph macchio and Pat Morita were brilliant as always.
