Hey, whats up everybody... In short, we are an up and coming, newly formed band by the name of Overshadowed. We just finished up our band demo and I'm basically stopping and asking people who, if you have the time, could simply check out our page, or leave a comment on a song. One song in particular named "Shining Season" is DIRECTLY inspired by Poets of the Fall, a band that totally deserves a bigger name than they have!

It doesn't mean fire as in "OMG I'M BURNING!!!" it means fire as in "inner-fire", or "that which drives you". You will to do something.

Listen to their songs long enough, Really LISTEN to them, and you'll see that none of their songs have only surface value. There's an undertone to all of it.

I find it a breath of fresh air, personally.

i love love love this band! the problem is i can't find their CD's anywhere!!! Does anyone know where i can look? I know i could probably by them online and download them but I would much rather have the actual CD just because I have terrible luck with computers and electronics in general.

The problem is, all the Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber listeners are too damn lazy to search for the music they 'd like.

They're blinded by all this advertising made for them, because today only those musicians have a good chance to get poular, which get pushed on TV. Or those who get known wearing a meat dress.

Unfortunately everything sells better than good music today. I regrett this, because especcialy bands like POTF have deserved the big success- because they actually make great music...

i listened this band before when wasn't listened so much and i listened this song mainly. i asked to myself "why wasn't known so much this type of amazing songs but lady gaga and justin bieber have millions of views!!!?".

now i see more people listening this band and wondering the same thing.

I like those pictures but I don't really get why you put them to fire by poets of the fall lol. I saw some fall season pictures of trees with changing leaf colors, shoulda saturated images like that :D that might be neat.

Popularity has a tendancy to ruin bands. Look at Finger Eleven, for example. Genius writing, up until they hit it big with a balld-style tune, then they popped-out.

@gardeninmymind Call your local Rock&Roll station and request that they play Poets Of The Fall. I did and guess what yesterday they played "The Ultimate Fling" people went nuts calling and asking who that awesome band was.
