i agree with salsacritic on the point that salsa groups should stop trying to put hip/hop into the routine. what i really want to see is a mambo/salsa dance routine from start to finish, and frankly i lost interest in the routine at about the 4min mark. this is not a top santorico routine, this reminds me of the spin mania and the 70's disco routine they had about 6/7 years ago, i really don't get this 1, where's the boogie down flava like in the gangster show, caravan and avisale a mi contrario
@mambocritic This was one of there first few times that this piece was performed. It has been revised and shorten. I just recently saw it live at there anniversary and it was very powerful and performed very well. I see a brighter future for SR
Wish they would stop w/the hip hop even if it's a tribute to MJ. Sick of seeing salsa groups doing hiphop. Can't believe they put the girls in those tops - - especially the MINOR. Especially if they are gonna be doing moves which calls for them jiggling like that (3:18-3:38). Yeah I know it's Afro-Cuban, but come on. I bet the guys would never wear anything that showed their body parts jiggling like that. About the big messup - all I will say is that trick didn't even fit w/the music.
I thought this routine was fantastic! Keep up the good work!
