  • When he says "Dbanj-ooh" it sounds like hes saying Panchod, which means "sister fucker" in Punjabi. Could u imagine a Sikh kid playing this and his parents beat him lol.

  • Na wa for some Igbo/Ibo people's comment on here and very glad that most people are not responding to such comments cause they are useless....thought y'all be calling yourself Christians..".what would Jesus do"?..You all are confused folks(those people who comment negative)....I am one Nigeria Yoruba-Hausa-Igbo and the orther smaller languages....Peace out! You all can curse me out too. You just wasting your energy!

  • the guy is yoruba,...he just learned Igbo...nd i would love to learn Igbo bc im Yoruba!!!!

  • @jayjaykayode Actually, if you bothered to read the comment I replied to, you would realise that in fact you are the dumbass. Also, note that I did not say 'only Igbo people are Nigerian', there is nothing incorrect at all in what I said.

Lastly, Nigeria includes way more cultures than the 3 you've just mentioned - yet another reason why you're a dumbass.

  • @chilo934 wazobia!

  • i am really impressed, I couldn't tell that he was not ibo untill I read his biography. we he is from millitary background, he can easily adapt to any culture, great job tho, kudos d'banj

  • Does't matter whether he sung in Igbo or efik yoruba or bini or etc.. For me, i like that he is from another ethnic group( yoruba) giving homage to another in this case (igbo). I can see him easily doing another language. The main point is that he has identified as a NIGERIAN with other NIGERIANs of another language who have bestowed recognition and gifts upon him. Clearly he was moved by it and relayed that in music , which is his platform..All the other igbo is best talk is pointless.

  • Dbanj!!! Carry go!!!!

  • @peace 183 are u sure?dbanj mum na ibo?

D'banj was born to a successful artillery officer who commanded an artillery regiment and a street was named after him in Alamala barracks Abeokuta and a church dignitary mother, who hailed from Shagamu in Ogun State. Due to his father's profession, he moved several times within Nigeria and also moved to India. D'banj was expected to follow his father's military career and was enrolled to the Nigerian Military School, Zaria at age eleven.[2]

  • His album called "MR ENTERTAINER" DBANJ wants to use it to kill off those who still think he's fluke or else pls listen to MAJE

  • nice...very nice

  • The beat sounds like something that will be in an aunthetic igbo song. Love this. And i bet you my parents will love this, just because of the beat.

  • yes the beats are so igbo, this will def be played at igbo events

  • lol nice. i will luv to see more of this.

  • These guys are just real entertainers and have given us another hit tune to spice up our parties. This sound can be rightly discribed as a fussion of ikwoklikwo merenge hiphop koko beat. Dbanj and Donjazzy don't want to spare any age group as this song is likely to send both mamas and papas rocking especially in igbo social functions. Dbanj is truely a music ambasador and I forsee an igbo chieftancy title in the offing to add to his intimidating list of accolades. Congrats !

  • Don jazzy knew exactly what he was doing by bringing this in, as in now you'll have igbo parents buying d'banj's CD exclusively for that song!!
