Through abiogenesis we can tell that life can come from non-living material, which is roughly the closest we have came to answering the question "How can life come from non-living matter?"

It's not pathetic at all. it makes perfect sense. Nothing came before Him, otherwise He wouldn't be God. He created the universe, and what has a begining must also have an end. We will stand before Him one day, giving accountability, so make sure you get to know your Creator. Try reading His Word : The Bible. (A little hint - i started with the book of Proverbs - it's brilliant ;))

I think its you who needs to "get to know your creator". If you had read "his word" (how do you KNOW its his word anyway? Because it says so?lol) you would see God is homophobic, pro-slavery, allows you to beat your children if they don't love, and also wants you to kill girls who aren't virgins when they marry. Is that worth your worship? I should hope not. And it doesn't make "perfect" sense. Maybe that first particle was the first thing, thus giving it some "God-like" status, or maybe not.

Wow! Those are very well picked verses! My guess is, somebody sent you these vereses to lead you away from God, especially when you read them like this and not the whole book or the entire Bible.Or maybe you found them while reading the Bible yourself and got sooo shocked, you stopped reading till the end. IS THE SAME GOD that demands all those atrocities. So I fail to see what your point is. God "said" those things, and so far I haven't come across line in the bible that states "You see books 3 and 5? Ignore them, I was smoking weed that day". Also, its not just those two books, read Exodus and Ephesians, among others.

No, IDO NOT ignore these books, nor do I recommend it.The people of Israel were very disobidient, God set them appart to be His people and at the end of every schocking demand it says "so you shall put away the evil from among you".
