@ThePaulpFiction well, the album treated stuff related to fantasy (gnomes, witches, kings, etc), great album, incredible, even thought it was the first album, it was a great one (what i mean is that when a band starts, it doens´t have much experience, and the first album are typically very difficult)

I dunno, even though I personally like the album none of the members really liked it (not sure about Syd though). They were playing really progressive stuff live at the time (like Interstellar Overdrive), and most of the songs on this record were just pop songs made to gain popularity.

They regained their integrity with Saucerful of Secrets.
