i bought some stars with "adhesive sticky pads" but the pads are only sticky on one side, i cant find a way to stick em to the wall, anybody know how?
That looks amazing. I'm trying to do something similar on my ceiling with glow-in-the-dark stars. The problem I'm having is not only do I not have any idea how the different asterisms should relate to each other, but I can't even find any agreement on which/how many stars belong to what asterism. *IS* there any official agreement when it comes to this, or is it just personal preference?
@shioswsey its just personal preference - check out how they look to you -
eg gemini is usually shown as two twins kinda holding hands but when i look i really see this sort of coffin shape - nothing morbid it just reminds me of the shape and thats how id draw it
its not only the asterisms but some constellations really relate to each other like in the winter hexagon that i show here - it looks like its more to think about but it actually really helps give it structure
Turn the light off! OMFG!

dude, get a camera, put it on a tripod, use the NIGHT setting on a digital ... follow usual directions for the SLR ... and take the shots! EASY.

@louislestat123
it got painted and was finished about 3-4 hts after taking this vid - the hard work had been dome! ;)
the painting didnt take long replacing stickers with paint and finishing off a few constellations
the special effects then take a little while - the airbrushed milky way and loadsa background stars + shooting stars
ive never been able to take a pic of the finished work but id sooo love to
anyone know how to do it? next i think im gonna try it with my old SLR that should work
