  • To me, in this demo the beano sounds just a hair sweeter than the squawk.

  • really nice demo. sounds to me like the squawk out-beano's the beano. both great for sure but the squawk is a pedal i believe 20 years from now will be thought of as a true classic. imho it totally outclasses pedals 3x the price. especially if you're rockin single coils thru a tube amp, check this out.

  • Your demos are really cool!! I'd like to hear the bypass (clean) sound in every demo.

    Would you?

  • @makoty64

    Thank you. I will try.

  • or would you pick up the lumpy's '73?

  • @matt6l6

Lumpy's is cool, but it doesn't quite sound like a true germanium boost. But then again, it's not really supposed to. I sold my '73 and I sold the Beano Boost already.

  • So, if they were the same price, which one would you pick up?

  • @matt6l6

Squawk for sure. You can make the Squawk sound like the Beano, but the Beano can't sounds like the Squawk.

  • Cool! Well done....love the sound of the Remedy. Who needs a Z Wreck when you have one of those!

  • It's hard to pick up one!

Plum Crazy pedals really rock, too bad here in Italy it's impossible to find one to try...

  • @ciclosonico

Plum Crazy has a dealer in the UK if that helps...

  • Yep, tough call. They both sound really great.

  • Dang. Now that's some great playin'. Both pedals sound great and I think it's too close to call.

  • they sound almost the same, but one things for sure, that Dr. Z sounds great with either!
