Someone tried to steal me FROM my mom's car. It was scary. But personally, I think that if your children are really tiny and breakable, that you definitely shouldn't leave your kids in the car. If they're in their teens and way more responsible then it's alright because they'll have enough sense to lock the doors and roll up the windows and just crank the AC. I used to live in a couple neighborhoods where car shopping was kinda commonplace, and once I had a bowl taken from my glovebox. The change was still in the little change holder though, so I guess they knew what they wanted. That note idea is hilarious though, I would totally do that if I had good reason lol. And I don't trust kids enough to leave them alone near my things, so no I'd never leave a kid alone in a car.

When I was 16, some 45 year old man was driving around staring at me all creepy like. When I parked and ran into the grocery store for 5 mins, I came back out and saw that he'd parked next to me and was standing next to my car staring into the backseat... but I don't think he was trying to steal my car. I think he was just a pervert. When he saw me coming, he got back in his car, and started asking me if i wanted to go somewhere "just me and him." and when i said no, he asked "why, u married?"
