The topic is very much en vogue of course but other than that I do not think it is a great movie, good maybe. Neither do I think C. Firth was the good choice for the leading part - he apparently could nto play a middle-aged gay professor convincingly. Matthew Goode is good, though. I did not really know him before, I will be happy to see him in other movies in future.

This is my faviorite trailer for this movie- I get why they made different ones as this could be to complex for people to understand- but it's just fantastically edited and it's a beautiful movie

Fabulous period piece. Great cinematography , actors/actresses were great very heartrending. I'm glad the sex in the movie was secondary.

I LOVE this movie. I love the way it portrays the innocent love between two men, and shows how love can break a person apart and causeing to want to do the craziest things ever like suicide. Great movie
