well, im training swordfighting for several years and its really awful fighting. There was absolutely no skill involved. As far as i can see and the twist, one of the guys did, was pointless and stupid.

the second bit was ok. but it didnt look like they were actually trying to hit each other. if youre doing a stage show, it should look a little more realistic. repeatedly slapping the other guys shield may eat up time in a show fight, but it gets old quick.

It depends always on the fighter, I had a big talking guy, who meant, he is with 2 daggers faster than me with one 2 handed sword....well, he lost in seconds..;) Overestimated himself....

It just depends on the skills and lots of luck.

the knights of england actually used two handed broadswords like these in ritual duels. they often didnt use other weapons in duels. These guys were probably reenacting that.

over half of the old fighting manuals focused on wrestling. Meaning you got your hit to wound then go break his arm, (yes they knew how to do that back then) then stab him with ye olde dagger. Thats why this looks wimpy.
