@MrDonMakedon It's not false history. it says the same thing as the history books and programs in the U.S.A, Britain and most of the would. The only country in the would that believes that ancient Macedonia and Alexander the great and Ancient Macedonia is not Greek is the Republic of Macedonia.

@MrDonMakedon I use Republic of Macedonia because I believe that any nation has the right to name itself whatever it wants. however on the historical point of view it's clear that the Ancient Macedonians were Dorian Greeks like the Spartans Corinthians and many more. I love both Greek and Yugoslav history and Historical documents will show that Republic of Macedonia was once called Vardarska until Tito changed the name to prevent Bulgarian nationalism that occurred in WW2

Fyrom is miss using the name Macedonia. They are talking about that the whole region of Macedonian is theirs(just google united Macedonia). They are falsifying every historical person in the region , hence every Greek or Bulgarian hero has become "Macedonian' in their history books. They called themself Bulgarians just 70 years ago. So realy can you reexplain their right to abuse the name of Macedonia

@petdou1 they are sovereign nation and call themselves whatever they want, even if it is inappropriate. I'd prefer that they go back to there Slavic roots and change there name back to Vardarska. if Yugoslavia still existed this wouldn't be a problem they would be a part of a country not a sovereign country and wouldn't take the name Tito gave them so seriously. after all the name dispute didn't really occur until after the brake up of Yugoslavia.

@petdou1 the common map calls that nation Taiwan. they still call themselves the republic of China. the English would map calls many nations not by there official name many times such as Deutschland is Germany Magaria is Hungary and as you know Greece is Hellas. as for the identity of Macedonia I can assure you that all the history books and professors and tv programs say Macedonia was a northern Greek monarchy that united the Greeks into the league of Corinth.

@ptolemy1989 You have to remeber their official name is Fyrom not republic of Macedonia. Agreements states that will remain until the name question is solved.
Why would the name "North- Macedonia" be a problem'
They reject that sine that would break the long term goals of an "ethnik"/"united" Macedonia. All their state myths could not be supported anymore

@petdou1 I meant to say 1944 when I said Tito changed the name. the point I'm trying to make is that as a territory it was less inappropriate then as a sovereign nation taking the name from Greece and I can see why Tito did what he did. it was a good plan to wipe out Bulgarian Nationalism. however it kind of backfired since they broke away with a disillusion of Macedonian nationalism.

It's extremely disappointing that all great ancient writings and historians are being questioned by a people that is so confused and fed almost as much false advertisement as the American public is being fed today.
