  • Indian air force?

  • @danijeltomicPFC yaa i think thats during the red flag IAF was there !!!

  • @Vanyaaynav Эт он реверс врубал чтоб тормозить)

  • По моему мнению здесь дефект взлетно-посадочной полосы. У пилотов не было выбора. Ил-76 превосходная машина! Слава советским сталеварам!

  • It's wonderful to see the Indian Air Force working with the US. The worlds two largest Democracies should work together to bring stability and peace to the world!

  • @tomt6040 India a Democracy and America bringing peace to the world, okayyyy!

  • @tomt6040

    fool me... I like

  • it's not a tumor!!!!

  • и Къде требваше да се усмихна или зарадвам?

  • That IAF pilot is shit couldn't he land like the USAF AWACS?Or is the IL-76 supposed to be landed that way?

  • @MostwantedLover1 IL-76 is braking with his nose up. This is normal

  • @Levasc but il-76 come x2 faster than awacs

  • How the hell did they make a plane out of wax?

  • @Vanyaaynav Это дали реверс тяги.Обратите внимание на заслонки внешних двигателей

  • Не это не ИЛ, не как.

  • i would someday post some videos of that IL 78 , also the CJ-130 and may be the C17 Globemaster(after they get delivered to IAF)

these IL-78 fly just over my apt in before landing/taking off to/from the nearest AFB in Chandigarh. Once i thought its gonna crash land on my building...its too noisey must say..!!

Love IAF and also the USAF..!!

  • The IL76 is a well designed aircraft. In this case it just shows the bad brake capability by the steel brakes and outer thrust reversers..So the crew decided the aerodynamic brake and lifted the nose very high after touch down. This aircraft would fly forever if they install some upgrades. Engines, brake, avionics etc. The hull is designed for save life !! Experts know what I mean

  • @Elfokko

    Yes I Know.

  • il-76 look coming bad comparate to awacs no ?

  • 0:47 That's one big bitch

  • IL is a COOL!!!

  • Зачем 76-й было на козла ставить ?! %)

  • @tubeseener скорость была большая.

  • Beautiful landing by the mainstay.

  • Wonderful aircraft. The IL-76 is the most charming Russian aircraft ever built.

  • @Flyermac - I don't disagree the IL-76 is charming, but the Antonov An-2 has more charm and charisma in my eyes.

  • coooool landing.....................

  • The Il-76 reminds me of a Vulture.

  • The Il-76 reminds me of a Vulture.

  • И не узнать наш самолет =)

  • is this Nellis?

  • Indian Air Force plane doing a wheely !

  • the first airplane is a boeing 707 ?

  • @extra330LT A converted 707 for the military.

  • @trev711 ok

  • My Airforce just made me proud! what a recovery! That guy was one of the best!

  • The IL-76 is called GAGRAJ here in India....meaning the King Of Elephants !! But its a Mammoth isn't it ??

  • I was gonna say.. the thumbnail was a picture of the IL.... turns out I didn't fully read the title first.

  • thee ailen have the best fleet ever..(never seen one).. :(

  • Is the AWACS Italian?

  • AWACS is serious, it's really serious, look at it's "face" =)

  • What is it with Russian aircraft and the nose-down attitude? Is it in their flight manuals or something lost in translation?

  • @Basabe7

No its with aircraft construction and the way the wing is positioned in relation to the fuselage (to have least drag at high speed, it needs low AOA on landing)

  • @52111centrumcz Aircraft construction? WTF? It isn't the only high-winged aircraft around. Have a look at a C-17 land. If the pilot has to point the nose down to decend then they are simply going too fast! You run the risk of landing nose gear first and exposing the aircraft to damage.

  • @Basabe7

You don't understand...the wing AOA relative to the line of the fuselage, not the position of the wing. The wing is bent in a different manner on a IL-76 so that when it flies level at speed, it has the wing AOA relative to the airstream in a different position compared to a C-17...I don't know how to explain it, look up the vids of the C-17s wings and the IL-76 wings.

  • @52111centrumcz I understand the physics and dynamics of what you are attempting to say but look at the IL-76 videos at the end of this comment and how they manage to land without pointing the nose down. The flap setting used here generated too much lift for the speed they were travelling at. There would have been no need to point the nose down if they had the right settings. Videos: dMw8Jsqrnaw & inlw7wrFwtc.

  • @Basabe7 JFYI, I've seen records of IL-76 landing on the nose gear first with *heavy* cargo -- and folks told it was as prescribed. If that puzzles you, feel free to carry out a little research based on this -- I'd be interested to hear back from you as I'm no aircraft landing expert by any margin.

  • Them Indian pilots are loco...

  • @hasenpfote272 it seems u dont have any clue.

  • Why such a high AoA after touchdown?

  • Big Honkin'Jet!!!

  • @hasenpfote272; That is sad if its true, I always found post WW2 Germany to be better than most of its European neighbors, its a tragedy that the most peaceful guys are often the weakest (converse is true too).

  • @theeviltwi9 He is wrong Germany has a substantial if not pretty good Air Force. Their F-4s will be replaced in a matter of 2 years and they will be replaced by the Euro fighter. Sure Germany cant compete with the U.S or Russian Air Force however with the combined strength of NATO they stand strong.

  • @hasenpfote272: Doesn't Germany have defense forces?

I heard their Air force was quite awesome?

  • normal operations for the USAF

  • Interesting how even military tubers tend to land with quite a high aoa compared to their civilian counterparts.

  • @hasenpfote272 India's response was as tough as ever and the IAF created a new record by using precision guided weapons at Pakistani positions as high as 14,000 -15,000 feet in the high Himalayas.Type this out in you tube to see the video.

'Indian air force Mirage 2000 destroying a pakistani bunker during kargil War 1999'

Such operations along with use of heavy artillery, often 100 guns of upto 155mm cal and insane hand to hand fighting, the pakis were forced to withdraw.

  • @insas223

    Viva la India

    From America =)

  • @drbackjack Greetings from India!

  • @hasenpfote272 Indian policy on Nukes is NO-First use.No nukes will be deployed by India unless Pakistan is mad enough to initiate a nuke attack(God forbid).Stated policy is that use of any WMD will result in total retaliation. Nukes are last resort weapons.Indian and Pak have still fought a war in Kargil in the Himalayas in 1999 despite both having tested Nukes by then.Pakistan thought it could occupy some Indian positions and in the nuke scenario India;s response will not be tough.

  • @hasenpfote272 Actually its got the 4th largest Airforce in the world.

And,yes, it does defend us against Pakistan.Quite well in fact.

BTW apart from the IL-76s the IAF is moving to acquire 10 C-17 Globemaster from US with an option of 6 more. The IAF would be the 2nd largest operator of C-17s after the US.

  • great thing about AWACS it can track moving targets in real time and gee i better not say its probably top secrete.

  • "They see me wheelin' they hatin', Patrollin' they try to catch me landin' dirty."

IL-76 needs a 3-point landing. If anything you need to put the nose down first, which normally is a really dick move and it leads to more undercarraige failure than most other aircraft. However the way that particular bird is balanced if you try a regular landing and use the airbrakes, the ground effect will throw the nose up and either launch you into the air again or slam the tail into the ground.

  • magnifique

  • wow big fat cats

  • does USAF has an il-76????

  • @kirikman2 No.

  • @kirikman2 notice the MASSIVE letters on the plane saying INDIAN AIR FORCE

  • @kirikman2 This plane belongs to India

  • They see me rollin

    They hatin

  • That is what I call a Landing!!! ( IL76)

  • that how them big dicks swang

  • like a boss

  • Индусы, хуля...

  • its the freaking indian air force :D awesome!

  • this should be the new "uav" on modern warfare 3!

  • 1:00 i thought he landed on an invisible runway...

  • love the angle of attack on the il-76 landing

  • @edyken77 You mean angle of descent?

  • @TTDMFfreaknew that's most likely what I meant =)

  • @edyken77 Yea, AOA has to do with airflow in relation to the wing.

  • is it crashing or landing? should i stay or should i go?

  • USAF and IAF.........the best!

  • where is this?

  • Wtf first lands u.s irforce then india airforce is this in usa? weird

  • wow that's an awsome plane. Love to fly one of those.

  • @Polaris688 who wrote"there are instruments that are never turned on in flight because nobody is quite sure what they're for." Just press that buttons, they are all coffemakers!

  • IL - 76 No.1 !!!

  • too bad no deshaker plugin...

  • IL-78 MKI...

  • @DarkMthrfckr - yes

  • @DarkMthrfckr "requesting aproach chkchkchkchkchhdg altimeter 2973"

  • @officialofawesumness That's "requesting runway two one zero right, altimeter...".

Nellis has two runways, 21L and 21R if you're coming in from the North East. 3L and 3R coming the other way. Stands for 210 degrees and 30 degrees magnetic, respectively. Landing on 210 means you can see Las Vegas in the distance ahead of you.

  • I am almost positive this is Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas.

  • @bmavric09 "almost positive" eh? Where else would we have "Red Flag" again?

  • It is IL-76M - stop video and read It. landing of airplane at a noser.

  • or the pilot was a european or american... l

  • @LizardTroll - nope.....:D u have gone mad my boy :D

  • it is non il -76

  • IL-76 looks so fucking agressive!!!

  • This vid show as landing of a AWACS and a Italian C-2 transal!!! only for som stupied one who has wrot on description this is a il7......hahahahhaha wtf aaaa?!!!!

  • @dragance011 no its a IL-76M of the Indian Airforce. Its Clearly visible in the Video

  • @dragance011 Since when does the Indian Air Force use Italian C-2s instead of the IL-76 as their aerial refueling aircraft?

Because...that's what it is. And I was there during Red Flag 2008, Number 4 and last for the year.

  • Indians love Wheelies

  • with the right mods....a t-6 can look like a jap zero...and my c-150, with its tail dragger mod looks JUST LIKE a c-185...TRUE.

  • that indian pilot is testing the russian plane to the limit

  • Our blackbird is in the sky

  • wow this is great video

  • Indian Air Force is the best!!

  • the IL-76 actually a C141 with some minor mods.

  • @jjjazzycraig Just because the wing design is some what similar doesn't make it the same plane with "minor mods"

Engines, ALL Avionics, Flight specifications, lift weight and even the design is DIFFERENT.

  • @jjjazzycraig LOL One is Russian and the other American.

  • dude, these are hilarious!! download this in downloadmusic .im

  • Il-76 just made 'dynamic braking'

In Russia you can often see this kind of stuff

  • Thats an Indian Air Force IL 76

  • Haha, was that an aborted touch n go? LOL!

  • Indian air force ... LOOOOOL !!!!

  • One day will come Indian air force will fuck U.........!!!

  • @pkpallai XD !!!!

  • @pkpallai Keep dreamin :P

  • thats a woman piloting the IL76.. apparently women make great pilots but bad drivers... trivia :-)

  • @sasharma821 There is a notorious hump in the runway at Nellis AFB that surprises the pilots who haven't been there. Nothing wrong with that landing, nice and sooth on the recovery.

  • Hey guys in the tower see me wheelin'?

  • does the dome on awacs spin?

  • @FmasterJG Yes.

  • like it tell i saw Indian air force though all they head was a flying carpet?

  • I hear the Navigator since in the noise? Some one claims the pilot sits down there on the noise? HAAAAAA

  • holy shit, that IL-76 is massive.. forget 18-wheelers, this thing has 20.

  • awacs, nice landing on the mains, weird derotation. Russian, awful landing, underflared, then pitched up during roll out, not nice to me.

  • @flchange The il-76 is designed to fly pitching down. You can't necessarily flare up with it or you will gain lift. The flaps are so massive that they produce a lot of lift, <mainly because it carries cargo. What other landing's of the il-76 youll see :) cheers.

  • The Russian plane looked much better

  • is this a place in the usa?

  • @fitz068 Nellis AFB.

  • It was amazing, I live in Las Vegas, and while I was at the Cheyenne campus of CSN, I saw one of these amazing things land!

I thought to myself, that can't be a C-17, there's just something different to this....

  • YC-15 was a plane development only to test coanda effect. If you watch in detail the tail of YC-15 is identical to the C-17. C-17 was a development to replaced C-130 with out road capacity that C-130 showed in Vietnam. C-141 and C-5 will never share this capacity with the C-130. C-17 is a bigger YC-15 with a new modern wing and 80s technology.

  • @missymonroe72 Correction: "Coanda effect". was tested in the YC-14.

  • america stole this dsign and made the c-17 just like how they stole the yak design and made the f-35

  • @chaghar The C-141 was first in 1963 and C-5 came out in 1968, before the IL-76 which was in 1971. The C-17 is just based off the C-141 and C-5 but with better capabilities. America stole NOTHING

  • @xTomcatsForeverVF84x wrong !!! C-17 is based in C-14 / C-15.

  • @missymonroe72 Yes, you are right about the YC-15 origin, but I am not wrong about it being based off the C-141/C-5. The YC-15 was intended to replace the C-130's. Although it was canceled, the T-tail design and high wing mount designs had to come from the C-141's and C-5's. The YC-15 never even had a payload close to the C-17, which at the time the Air Force was looking for a plane to combine the capacity of C-5 and C-141's, yet have have same flexibility/maneuverbility as the C-130.

  • @missymonroe72 but its good that you mentioned it to me because at the time I was writing, the YC-15 completely slipped my mind

  • @chaghar Then Russian stolen the B1B and build the TU160 Blackjack.

  • i like the il-77 recover more

  • E3's fly over my house all the time on final

  • nice wheelie

  • OMG, THERE'S AN UFO HOVERING ON TOP OF THE AIRPLANE!

  • how often do you see mil acft w/ thrust reversers?

  • i dont get it...whats with the nose bouncing up?

  • i want to have sexxxxxxxx with a u.s pilottttttttttttttt

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

  • @BrianEaZy Ahem...

  • @Dominoes282 LOL HELLO!

  • IL-76, 78 Made in Uzbekistan )

  • @Shuxa02 i think this one is from Russia with Aviadvigatel PS-90 engines

  • @Shuxa02 " IL-76 Made in Uzbekistan"

    ------------------

LOL ! ...and Ford made in Tailand and Brazil? - there are assembling factories there - there was assembling aircraft factory in Uzbekistan when it was part of USSR, but after USSR collapsit was closed...Doyou understand what is Uzbekistan?-I doubt it. The plane is Russian made.

  • @arlik100 this plane accomplished in Uzbekistan and ordered by Indian air forces to Tapoich, there made many planes for them. Russia only supply with engines. )

  • @Shuxa02 only engines? But Uzbekistan has no smelters to produce even aviation metal for a hull, no capabilities to produce avionics - the factory in Uzbekistan is ASSEMBLING facility - the same way as Ford has ASSEMBLING plants in Brazil and Thailand...or Toyota has assembling plants in Vietnam and Pakistan (which is a real fact - google)...can we then say that Toyota is made in Pakistan?...or Vietnam?...You better be detailed in what you want to say - people who read are not idiots

  • @Shuxa02 LOL ;) It's assembly only. Very primitive and much less than it was in USSR time.

Ford has an assembly plant in Russia with some components produced natively in Russia. If we follow your logic than Ford Focus is Russian car ;)

  • fucking ghost eye, hurry up with that damn ESM

  • ил 76 красавец.:) только мне не нравится подбородок у него.

  • recovery? boring fuckin video

  • @TheNecrosisx You should shut up and watch the damn video instead of complaining. This video is meant to show skill of aviation, not degrade it like an ignorant person like you.

  • @xTomcatsForeverVF84x You mad bro? You mad?

You sound mad because you were never talented nor intelligent enough to become a Pilot, in fact, I bet you even got knocked back as a male flight attendant.. for being TOO gay.

So, basically STFU because I care about as much for you as I did for this video, or planes in general. I came to this video hoping to see it crash, becasue I love watching airplanes crash, the 9/11 was the bes, those trade center towers went down like a sack of potatoes! WOO

  • @TheNecrosisx Number one, I AINT your bro. Second, how the hell do you know of my whereabouts in life? You fuckin retard. Question is, why are you bashing on me about becoming a pilot? That leaves only one thing, you can't become one so you try and bring other people down to your pathetic level =P I'm sorry man. I'm in AFROTC so my chances are better than yours. If you love watching people blow up then you should try and do it to yourself, because you obviously hate life.

  • @xTomcatsForeverVF84x

You will crash your next flight and burst into flames, and I will say "eeeexcellent"

What the Fuck is the AFROTC? something for niggers?

  • @TheNecrosisx You shouldn't have an interest for aviation. Your reasoning and comments are so pathetic. Lets just say that AFROTC is probably something you will never get in to. With your attitude you wouldn't last long. Whoops, you're 27 and you still haven't grown up yet. Sorry, your chances are definitely out the window. XD
