  • Little Ripples, that's so sweet:)

    BOP

  • The fairies will keep me safe, don't worry!

  • WOWZers! That's quite the addition! Congrats Charlie! Cheers and Happy New Year!

  • Wowzers - that's the first thing I said when we got back home from holiday, and it was nearly all done!

  • Little Ripples. I like that! Can't wait for an update...

  • Not bad for 3 months of banging my head against a wall trying to come up with something original, yet personal! :o)

  • Charli the addition is looking great. I like the new purchases and the new sign for the house! -Jim

  • The new Tv is awesome - got a newer model then we originally intended, but it was worth it! It took months of nagging from our friend Jim for me to come up with the name for the house so he could make the sign!

  • The doorknobs look like crystal balls. Looks like you will have an exciting set-up when it's all done.

  • Should keep Rich occupied, staring into them to try and get the lottery numbers!

  • I'm so jealous! If I weren't moving back to the UK in a year or two I'd expand my little bungalow as well. Of course I don't have much in the way of a garden, so it'd be difficult to expand any direction but up.

We've not met, but I've been watching your videos for a while. They're mint!

  • You could have a high rise all to yourself!! lol

I'm chuffed you like my videos, and I can tell you're a fellow Brit, using words like mint!

  • That looked dangerous! Lovely name for the house.

  • You know me, dangerous is my middle name..... Well, it would be, if it wasn't Isabelle!

  • Charli...such a solid little cottage, rising now quite nicely.I too am eying one of those new bedrooms for my visits to the UK.I'll bring along my boy Bill, the Boston Terrier,so Fonzy has a wee bit of company! Thanks for the tour! xoxo tom

  • Gosh, we'll have to set up a timeshare program for all the youtubers, otherwise we won't be able to move for video cameras!!

  • You probably could, and pay for it straight away! LOl.......London is the destination this time,as a side-trip from Paris....and Rob (Riverman1971) has me covered!Bill most wait to meet Fonzy :o(

  • Buy wood stainer and weather resistance varnish for the sign:)

  • Thanks for the tip :o)

  • At least this one's playing for me. Great stuff to see such a lot of progress. I can't believe you went rooting through your own skip! Fun knobs for the bedroom, what a good idea. Cheers, Lesley

  • I have such a dirty mind - I'm seeing innuendoes everywhere (fun knobs for the bedroom - LOL) :o)

  • OK I confess I could have put it another way but it's more fun if you can raise a smile too! L

  • Is that under floor heating in the new house, well, the hole for it?

It's going to be ace! You've got some nice new stuff!

  • Um no, it's the waste pipe for the toilet! We're just having standard, boring radiators, but that doesn't matter, as everyone will be looking at the sofas and tv, not the radiators!

  • Ah OK, no I didn't mean that though pipe though, it's too complicated to explain the rubbish I was clearly talking.

  • Did you mean the spaces between the lines of bricks on the floor?

  • Well the lines of bricks looked like they had holes in them running all the way along which looked like they were left there to put underfloor heating pipes through in to they gaps between the lines of bricks.

  • Ah right, there are gaps there, and I'm sure they could be used for pipework, but not for underfloor heating, as we can't really afford that! :o)

  • It is a bit of a pointless luxury - nothing wrong with other heating methods and who wants hot feet all the time!!

  • Good point, and I'd rather have a big TV anyway!

  • Deffinatly!! So you got a spare room? Fat control said I could move in - I'm being kicked out of my house :(

  • Did he now?? I shall be having words...

  • Hehe!

  • Get down you are making me dizzy!

I still dont get how come you have super builders who actually work, and fast!

Ah wait i see they eat concrete for dinner :P

    Those door nobs are awsome!

    I love the house name!

Ours is ''The Burrow'' after the Weasly house in harry potter :P

    Lilly x

  • Well, if they don't work quick and they run over time, they won't make any money! Rich's price negotiation skills are second to none!

Love the name of your house too, HP films are faves of mine!

  • You were making me awfully nervous up there Charli! I had to FF until you came down. LOL Love the sofa's and the doorknobs are quite lovely. I've just got boring brass. Your home is coming along quite well and thanks for letting us be a part of the before/during/and after. It's been great!

  • I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be! There'll be more videos in the next few weeks, but then we're on holiday, so there'll be a gap. :o)

  • What an exciting time for you and Rich...thanks for the tour and the memories..it was exciting seeing my house go up and we have many happy photos of the occasion..although the builders did not like the fact that I was take pics of their work and pointing out what I thought to be dodgy work lol...hugs

  • Our builders find it quite funny that I'm filming the whole thing, but they see new buildings going up all the time, and I don't! :o)

  • You have been on a shopping spree! I love the door knobs--they are gorgeous. The sofas are very cool. "Little Ripples"...very cute!

  • Shopping is what I do best!! I can't wait for the sofas to come, but they are being built right now!

  • You made me very nervous being up there on that scaffolding. Ya know they put that orange skirting up to keep people out! LOL!...Syd

  • I must be colour blind, lol! I used to do gymnastics when I was younger, so I was ok up there.

  • Thats cool. Little Ripples, sweet! I like the sofa's and the other stuff. Color coordinated door knobs. LOL All of our door knobs are old 50's american glass door knobs, interior.

  • The sofas will be here at the end of January, the sound system will be here next week, and the TV will be here when we come back off holiday - speaking of which, can't wait to see you guys!!

  • Little Ripples! What a great name for the house. What's the timeframe for the completion date?

  • The builders have said they'll be done before Christmas, and also that if they overrun, they'll have lost money! Just goes to show, that Rich knows how to haggle!

  • I so do not like hieghts and you being up that ladder, i had to hold my breath till you were down again.

Love the house sign lovely. So handles colour cordinated lol. Wont be long now and your be in and sorted.

  • I don't have a problem with heights, but had there been a spider on the ladder, I would not have gone up there! The house sign is going to be put on once the house is finished, as it's official christening! Should be all done for Christmas!

  • Spider and heights not for me lol. Christmas house opening party lol.
