@polemik99 my friend there are 2 kinds of workers in Greece. The ones who work in the public sector and where many of them do nothing and the ones who work in the private sector. There, it is quite common to work 10-12 hrs/day with no overtime paid of course, it is also "normal" that the boss doesn't pay social security as he's obliged to do and finally, the new wage status for the newcomers in the labour market is €592/month. I was observing the American "society" for a few years. It took me some time to comprehend that nothing is what it seems. Even the 401k plans are not for a nice retirement of the overworked people but to pour money into the markets. Money which otherwise would not be on Wall Street.
