Right, for the ones who are criticizing there look, patter and what they do at conventions need to find out a little more, there 2 ordinary guys who do magic as a hobby, they dont want to take it so serious that they want to be named the best in the world, they just like helping people out, so stop criticizing them about there conventions when everyone who goes enjoys it, also does this video show all the convention, nope. What is the point of doing so many riffle shuffles, le Paul Spreads, followed by a sybil and charlier cuts? I spoke to others about this. There is no need for so many of those flourishes, but maybe it is their style of act I do not know! I am a fan of flourishes but too many are not integrated into their routines. Also appearance and patter is very imporant too - one has to appear smart!, not a T-shirt and jeans! I mean you cant just go up to a table and shuffle a deck 10 times & locate 4 Aces?

Depends what kind of magician you are, and what situations you do magic. Dan and Dave only tend to do magic at lectures and on their DVDs, so I guess they don't really need to look their best.

I've got the DVD trilogy & learnt some amazing flourishes, I've personalised! But in all honesty [no offence] there's little evidence of patter. It's like watchin a magician masturbate! - Magic is about entertaining audience not urselves - Sory - the1st 0:5secs say it all. I like flourishes but they overdo it telling audience "I can do somethin u can't." They are both great performers but their act is too 'In ur face'! - They need pause & let the magic sink in, so people can appreciate ur act!

Flourishing has nothing to do with magic. They're both separate, although you can use flourishes to compliment magic.

I know everyone does, but in real life videos I have seen them, they are so smooth. This is the first time I see them dropping cards. This makes me feel much better for when I end up dropping cards three times in a row in a cut I am supposed to have mastered. :P

Also, their hands are in constant motion, haha!
