Knowing is the key factor. To all things are appointed seasons, knowing when to speak,and when not to. Knowing when to pray when to fast. The bible says not to be to anxious to teach for your judgement is that much severe as you have an obligation to teach what's right. "to whom much is given, much is required" it's given by God the ability to teach his word. So the one in that position stays in constant prayer for fear of teaching his own thing knowing how important it is to be a teacher.

Im not super intense about these things however im concerned over all for how many young people get pushed into ministry before their time simply because they can rattle off a few churchy phrases and tune up. When you sense the hand of God on your child. Pull them away and teach them the ways of God not just to memorize scriptures and cliches. Dear @Welleby, What insult? I was intellectual honest--and sometimes we know that is unpleasant. What veil? I thought I was quite direct. Until now, you refused to make explicit the premise(s) undergirding your truth claim that this young sister is being pimped. When people do this, it is because they have not thought through the premises of their claim, are unwilling or unprepared to engage an issue based on logic or simply don't have any foundation. So we end up with "X is X!"--fallacy.

@HibiscusDawn Exploitation is an act of victimization. The meaning of the word doesn't change based on who's using it or why. Child workers may need their pittance, but it's still exploitation. The adults in these scenarios have used the children for their own advantage. Some of these kids are less than 1! Some of them 'heal' people when currents facts point to faith healing being a scam. Some of them preach about abortion when they don't even know how babies are made.

@Welleby now in 50 years i have known many child preachers, but i am yet to meet one less than 1 huh? in all honesty i am yet to meet one less than 5. these kids are not victimized. you may not like the content of their families religious belief (more the case), nor are they exploited. they are expressions of the communities in which they are found. as far as faith healing being a scam, i guess i have been the recipient of a scam several times over in my life time one that has saved my life.

They shouldn't be concerned with this stuff. James Randi will give 1 million dollars to anyone shows anyone 'special' powers, and yet no one has claimed it despite the our world's abundance of faith healers, psychics, shamans, witches, and prophets.

@HibiscusDawn Cont. Some of them will no doubt be sorely disappointed when they grow up to realize that they're as mundane as everyone else. These kids, or rather their parents, can make a lot of money if their shtick catches on; DVD sales and appearance fees and the like. As for the churches, I'm sure they rake in a lot of donations for the people who come wanting to see this dog and pony show. I have been given no reason to believe otherwise in this girl's case either.

Christianity is a cult of human sacrifice (John 3:16). Vicarious redemption through the torture and murder of another human being is immoral. Genocide, the murder and degradation of women, hatred of homosexuals, intolerance of other peoples, and the mutilation of children’s genitals is a disgrace.
How about teaching children reason, tolerance, and virtue? You don’t have to lie to a child in an attempt to teach them morality. The barbaric acts of the bible are lessons in history, not reality.
