Out of all the bands I have seen in all my years, I would say Modest Mouse puts on the of the best shows ever known. The energy is insane, the crowd goes wild. I saw them last year in a venue that held less than 300 and it was explosive. Can never get sick of them.

Their live stuff is just as good as studio.. in different respects though. You get to really feel the music live, especially front row. I saw them in Connecticut the other day and they had to play in the lobby and so we got even closer to the speakers and stuff. Well I stood front row and I could feel the vibrations rattle my skeleton. Fucking awesome.

@EpiphoneSG95 Their live stuff is 100 times better, and I fucking love the studio versions. Music was meant to be played live. The good thing about MM is that they change up their songs during their shows. Unlike paying to go see a rap concert, you'll get your moneys worth seeing MM. If you go see a rap show you're just paying sums of money to hear the dude's album over a loud speaker. BORING.

you cant help but love their sound. and im gunna have to disagree with seanybooboo, theyre just as good live as in studio. Modest Mouse is just SUCH a good band and there is no denying it. As for the guitarist, hes much better than anyone commenting on him, id advise shutting ur mouth :D

Dude, my opinion of them has changed so much. They are now my 2nd favorite band (The Shins) and I'd do anything to see them live. Rock on!

..such a studio band. Will see them in July when they come to Hardrock in Orlando, but damn their live stuff doesnt come close to their CD's.
