Reading Dr. David Hawkins "Power vs Force" and would like to find a 1, 2, 3s of HOW to do the test. If anyone can break it down for me, I'd really appriciate that. ~~Thanks ahead, and for those who care about such, I'd sub if you can tell me how to learn to do the test correctly.

~ I think the message in this vid are useful. I know there is no test, or even a need for a test, of a person who is at pace with themselves and others. I would like to use the test to calibrate books, et cetra.

@WisherSurferGirl The method for testing is simple. Raise your arm out in front you. Ask the question (it must be answered by yes or no). Have someone push down on your arm. When the arm stays strong it is positive or yes. When the arm goes weak, it is negative or no.

@WisherSurferGirl You can also test on your own by using the finger pull apart technique. Create a circle by touching the tips of your thumb and pointer finger. Create a circle with each hand and loop them together like chain links. Pull them apart and if they break it's a no. If the circles do not break it is a yes.

@WisherSurferGirl Have fun playing around with the calibration testing technique. Be aware that this technique is very easily manipulated by a person's intentions. A person must clear the mind and have no expectations about the resutls of the test, otherwise the results will not be accurate.

Such calibration tools can often be a double edged sword. The ego is very devious.

@herrajoiku I don't call myself a student of David Hawkins and I do not recommend , techer or personally practice is calibration method, however I have studied it with him in person. Calibrations are useful for an ego that it is interested in judging other people to support it's own superiority over others (Pride level 175). When someone truly experiences the Oneness of All Life (Oneness level 600) has no desire to compare people's behaviors or qualities.

@herrajoiku David Hawkin's calibration method is only a tool for measuring something. And the measurement is only as accurate as the person doing the calibration. As Hawkins says: if a person cannot surrender their own personal ego mind during the calibration, then the results will not be accurate. Even so, once a measurement is taken it satisfies the mind's desires for comparison, however the calibration does not provide a means to fix the problem or eliminate the low calibration behaviors.

To Certain degree thats true, we love to play word games. However David Hawkins is putting emphasis on Whatness rather than Whoness, since whoness lets you seek another illusion of personhood.

This subtle distinction is actually very profound and its importance should be undertaken.

If you would be truly silencend the mind, you would recognice Hawkins remarkable Level of Enligtenment and you wouldnt be here claiming, you somehow have higher Understanding of his work.

As long as a person uses the language mind to search for the Self, there will be no enlightenment. A person must surrender the what and the who to experience beyond the personal self.

My friend and I have been reading his books daily for about 19 months and we have found them to resonate very strongly with great humor and in a language that we understand. I do not study nor recommend David Hawkins' material.

This video was part of a personal channeling session that I felt would be of value to a greater audience.

Dr. Hawkins created a system to rank objects, people, teachings, foods, etc. using the mind. It is a very interesting system, however to my knowledge there is no objective way to prove any of the findings. It is a system by the mind for the mind.

Whereas the teachings of the Higher Self take a person beyond the mind into the Heart.

Almost every spiritual approach is politicized somehow. Spiritual teachers on the Right or Left easily transition into shills for a political agenda. Sometimes they're not even aware of it. I catch myself not wanting to admit how political I still am. This is the point on which I most value the integrity of your approach.

I have a Lutheran pastor friend who subscribes to some spiritual rating system. He's blind to how it's designed to flatter him in his political bias.

The person ego loves to compare itself with old ideas of itself and ideas of other people. All of the ego's comparisons are flawed because it is our own perspective of something else with which we make the comparison.

So a superior ego will always see itself better than others. And an inferior ego will always see itself as lower. It is the nature of the ego psyche that determines the relationship, not the objective reality.

Yes, I often make this point with atheists, who are what they are because they refuse to examine the motives behind their thoughts. Unless one looks deeply inward, leveling with himself in a profoundly honest way, he's inclined to think that his own self-created and self-serving terms are Absolute. And herein lies the crux of the problem of the world. Nothing that we think in self is Absolute. But it is through such thoughts that we conveniently block ourselves from surrendering to the Absolute.

I agree. But in fact one can view even this matter as controversial, from the standpoint of the highest levels of discernment. Maya can present us with very convincing simulations of God! Therefore, ultimately, we must seek the God that redeems even the most spectacular of Maya's illusions.

Maya is quite tricky. We create God in our image (imagination) because we are created in the image of God - i.e., we have been given creative power from the Creative Source.

So if we are not careful and discerning, we will be creating a fictional God and pronounce it to be the real God. When in fact we can only bear Witness to the Real God. We cannot create the Real God. For God is the Creator beyond Creation.

The lower self is an illusion. If we affirm it's existence, we are only empowering our experience of egoic separation.

The Higher Self does exists in this world and can be embodied as a full experience. In the fullness of this experience, the mind is purified, the personal ego is eliminated, and All is directly experienced as Oneness.

Believing that there is a progress to remove the ego is only the conditioned understanding of the mind.

As far as I am aware, the technique Hawkins uses is really based only on what is 'good' and appropriate for the person being tested. Therefor, to a large extent, whatever number is calibrated is true for that person might be greater or lesser for another given the current level of light they are carrying in the NOW moment.

I agree with you that Hawkins' calibration techniques finds what is the appropriate calibration (rating) for you. But that is not what Hawkins says. He says these calibrations are absolutes and not subjective.

He says his calibrations are universlly true, and if you disagree with his ratings you are either selfish or you yourself are calibrating below 200.

That's where he loses me.

@mokamo23 the way to test his theory scientifically would be for a 3rd party to take a statistically large enough sector of the population & muscle test them for a large variety of things. If it's true that 15% of the population is above 200, it will be easy to fish them out of the test results, as they will be consistent with each other on many different topics, whereas the other 85% will be all over the place. This should work even if someone below 200 is conducting the experiment.

That's great. I've never met him personally. But I have read his first book "Power Vs. Force", which is an amazing book!!! He has some very profound ideas, including his scale of Conciousnouss, which seem to come from an inspired place indeed! I agree that his work is very stimulating spiritually, as well as intellectually!! My criticisms are definitely outweighed by the overall positive impact he has had in the field of spirituality and conciousness.

The consciousness scale is fascinating - an amazing invention. One must be cautious however. A tool such as this is highly sensitive to any subconscious ego manipulation. I have yet to meet any two people who calibrate the same results. Maybe there is a very skilled group of calibrators. I just haven't met such as group that can validate their results in studies.

I have also read some various charts of calibrations of the spiritual teachers on this planet. I tend to disagree with some of their findings. But that is my opinion. And they are entitled to theirs. All is fair and honest.

I always say trust oneself. When a person finds the Unifying Love within their heart, then there is no need to compare and judge. All is One, so what is left out? Our inner guidance leads us down the right road for us. It is only the mind that desires the highest road.

Here's an interesting story. When I first met David Hawkins, a ray of loving energy came out of his heart and met mine. It was very interesting.  A nice "hello" welcoming. David is a very genuine person. His gifts have been well received by humanity.
