IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOVEEEEEEE THIS SONGGG IT MAKES ME CRY I WANT TO MEET HIM I CRY EVERY DAY FOR THOSE PEOPLE THAT ARE BEING BULLIED WHEN EVER I LISTEN TO THIS SONG I CRY SOOO BADLY I LISTEN TO IT EVERY DAY I LIKE WEN HE SING DONT CALL ME NAMES DONT LAUGH AT ME LOVEEEEE ITTT
Peter Yarrow is a remarkable man whose love of others touched my family. After a concert in Ocean Grove NJ, we went up to say hi and Peter noticed my daughter who has cerebral palsy. He asked permission to have her walk with him while he signed autographs introducing his friend Megan to all who came up to him. The next time PP&M played Ocean Grove Peter remembered Megan's name after the show and once again she stood by his side as he signed autographs ...
this song was played ever since the the sixth grade, you wont beleive me but people commited suicide until this vidoe was shown in an assembly, the bullying stopped that very day...
it's a very moving song that does touch everyone to realize poking fun at people no mater if they're autistic, Black, Whi,te Jewish, Deaf , Blind, Obese or thin. No matter what we are we're all the same.
This song supports me. I have asberger syndrome which is a type of autisum. I almost cried when I heard this. I'm treated like a bitch every single day. Hopefully someday someone will come to the rescue. But who will?
Peter and Paul, You should upload one song to YouTube a day! You are such a great musical talent and so inspiring to our souls! Don't let your time get by!
It's amazingly beautiful, touching and helpful. I'm so glad I heard this, saw this video and had the chance to hear Peter sing it live at Ravinia in IL. It's just wonderful. Thank you for this gift.
I work with suicidal youth, some as young as 12. Most are gay Christians who have been ostracised by their church, youth group, school [teachers always seem to never be there when these youth are being bullied] and, some unfortunately, their family. My kids have cut their throat, set themself on fire, hanged themself, going to jump off a cliff ...These fundy Christians say they want to save their soul from hellfire and they feel they are doing God's will. Dist. 31 senator Pam Roach doesn't care.
@KennBurch Well, I am an atheist so I don't believe in the concept of a soul. But the video is funny. I'm not trying to be mean, but it's ridiculous. I can understand the message, I myself have autism and I know what it's like to be teased, but again it's just hysterical.
I was on the bus home one day looking through all of my Peter, Paul, and Mary songs. This song started, and I thought the begining sounded pretty, so I let it keep playing. The words started. I cried. I had to turn my head so no one on the bus could see. I cried for the people who really have this. I cried for myself, because some days I know what this song means. I cry for everyone.
