If im not mistakin, this car was driving by Pete Halsmer at mazda's 100th win @ imsa. engine is a 26B 4 rotor peripheral port.. nothing like a p-port or bridgeported idle.. I have a video on my page of a brideporte idle on a street car.. Fc rx7

i love the sound of that, for some reason the rev sound to me sounds better then the 787b but thats totally opinion. i wounder how hard it would be to get a 4rotor like that engine. i know its around 150k to get a 4rotor running. but 2 separate headers 1 per each 2 rotors and 2 collectors, have any idea the price to get something like that customized? i know its big bucks. anyone? thanks~

i still dont get why the worlds fastest street legal car has 2200bhp but the r26b engine with estimated 700hp is illegal to deive on the street, its just rediculous.

actually here in Australia engine swapping is not illegal. essetially if you didn't have full fledge race money, you could weuld 2 13b's together. then you just have to build everything around it. haha.

yes it does but in this case,thwe engine has 2 separate headers 1 per each 2 rotors and 2 collectors,if you see my other video for the rx-792p that engine has only 1 header 4 to 1 collector causing the diference in sound.unfortunally the sound of a 20 b is tottally different being that is a 3 rotor. and cannot be change , but is kits to convert 2 rotor engines to 4 rotor by an expensive kit , but can be done,oscar
