Hahaha yes. How did you know?! Actually most of the food I eat is hangaku ... we walk around the supermarket looking for the hangaku stickers :) (Or chase the woman with the hangaku sticker machine ... ) Bananas taste the best when they're almost rotton anyway.
I love banana cake. I tried making some the other day, but I didn't have all the ingredients I needed, so uh. It tasted good, but was really chewy. Kind of like a banana-flavored tire. Oh well! I may use your patent-pending makeshift oven a bit this summer, as it's starting to get too hot to use the real one.
Oh ... I never thought of that. Well, there goes my patent idea :( Actually though, that happens to be a frying pan that I was going to throw out because it was pretty much near the end of it's life, so it doesn't matter if it gets more damaged. I did use the new frying pan as an oven once though, oops.

I also have my own receipt on banana cake, but I think it's nicer to just chop the banana and not making it unrecognizable :)

That's a good idea, I'll try that next time. Good excuse to make another cake, mmmm :)

yeah... isn't there water in the pan??? I'm pretty sure that heating up a pot/pan w/o any liquid in it, will ruin the pot/pan...
