In argentina is more frequent to listen a more sad, nostalgic and sordid version, in fact the lyrics says "salio del sordido barrial" ( a piece of music that emerges from a sordid neighborhood ).
I would search the internet for "El Choclo" transcription "Roland Dyens". Should find it on some online stores or if you believe that Dyens should not get any profit for the pleasure he gave us you may be able to find it stolen on eMule. My friend Wim plays it by ear and he has no score whatsoever.

Nice, very natural sounding.
Who cares about the technique, it sounds musical! And its relaxed, which is hard to find in the ''classical'' world.

Your slurs have a little bit of a different timing than Roland Dyens' transcription. It is much better, i think, you have improved it.
And the rasguaedos are an amazing touch.
