Nice edison standard model A. Sounds like the belt has streatched over time and is now slipping. It will need to be replaced. A belt is very easy to cut to the right size. Phonograph repair shops sell the belting material for a cheap price. What is the name of that record? Where did you get this machine?
It sounds like your speed is to high. It just sounds really fast. It should be going slower.
